Background and History
Mu Ningxue is Mu Zhuoyun’s daughter. As a child, she grew tired of the restrictions at the Mu Family Manor and asked Mo Fan to take her away. Their attempted elopement brought punishment on families dependent on the Mu Clan; Xu Fang helped them with Wind Element magic 1 12 16.
Admitted directly to Imperial Capital Magic Academy at fifteen, she returned to Bocheng as a guest at Tianlan Magic High School’s annual assessment. There, she demonstrated Ice Vine, showed little interest in other students’ performances, and paid attention to Mo Fan 12 13 14. When Mo Fan and Xu Fang angered Mu Zhuoyun, she offered to duel Mo Fan herself. Xu Fang understood the offer as an attempt to keep her father from dealing with them personally 16.
As Imperial Capital Academy’s captain, she faced Pearl Academy in an inter-academy match. Her Ice Domain pressured the opposing team, but Mo Fan and Xu Fang countered her side’s attacks, and Imperial Capital Academy lost 145 146.
Mu Ningxue was initially chosen for the National Government Team, then disqualified because of Mu He’s involvement in the Black Vatican. She won a substitute position by displaying the power of her ice bow. Later, mentor Feng Li eliminated her from the team, but she returned and competed in the World University Championship 257 278 301 361.
Her conflict with the Mu Clan intensified when Pan Xi demanded that she surrender the Ice Crystal Brake Bow. Mu Family Discipline Mages suppressed her on a Venetian bridge until Xu Fang and Jiang Shaoxu intervened 322 323. Later, at Gulangyu, Mu Clan members and their allies attacked her and Mo Fan during a dispute connected to Fanxue Mountain’s mining interests. After Xu Fang helped repel them, Mu Ningxue pursued a business arrangement with Jinlin City 434 435 436 437.

Personality
Mu Ningxue is direct and restrained. She gives blunt assessments, speaks concisely in a duel, and remains composed when threatened by the Mu Clan or challenged by Asha Ruiya 13 146 323 361.
She is protective of Mo Fan but objects to his recklessness. At Gulangyu, she offered to cover his escape when they were outmatched 72 435. In competition, she refused to surrender even after being moved outside her Ice Domain, though she hesitated before using a bow attack that risked Soul backlash 361.
