Xiao Ling reunites with Xun Er in the Ancient Clan, defeats Gu Yao, and earns Gu Yuan’s acceptance of their relationship. He then enters the Heavenly Tomb with Xun Er and Xiao Yan, guiding Xiao Yan through its first level and toward the second.

• Gu Zhen warned Xiao Ling about the Ancient Clan’s bloodline rules, but Xiao Ling declared that he would surpass the clan’s expectations and later reunited with Xun Er.
• Xiao Ling met Ling Er and tested little Yan Ji’s possession ability, then joined Xun Er and Xiao Yan at the coming-of-age ceremony.
• Gu Qian and Gu Xu tried to bar Xiao Ling and Xiao Yan from the ceremony, but Mang Tianchi intervened and Xiao Ling later accepted Gu Yao’s challenge.

• Xiao Ling defeated the Blood Saber Saint, found Xiao Xuan’s Cave Mansion with Xun’er, and inherited the Xiao Clan’s bloodline power as it fused with his other bloodlines.
• Xiao Ling broke through to Dou Saint, mastered the Xiao Clan Mark, and promised to marry Xun’er while Xiao Xuan trained him and gave him bloodline power for Xiao Yan.
• Xiao Ling caught Hun Ya and Hun Li as they fled, then left hidden Heavenly Flame seeds in their meridians before the Heavenly Tomb opened.

Xiao Ling established the Rune Master path in Danta, rescued Yun Yun and Heavenly Fire Venerate from Soul Hall, and destroyed multiple Soul Hall branches. He returned to Jia Ma with Xiao Yan and their companions, where the Xiao Family welcomed them and hosted the empire’s leaders and other guests.

• Xiao Ling and Yao Chen gained the First Elder’s approval to establish the Rune Master path in Danta, and Danta opened the Spirit Talisman Hall with Xiao Ling as Hall Master and Yao Chen as First Elder.
• Xiao Ling returned to Starfall Pavilion, helped Qing Lin subdue powerful snake beasts, and gave Mu Qing Luan a pill to aid her breakthrough.
• After Nalan Yanran reported that Soul Hall had captured Yun Yun and Heavenly Fire Venerate, Xiao Ling went to Falling Soul Cliff and rescued them and the other captives.
• Xiao Ling killed Blood River Heavenly Venerate and Bone You Saint, freed imprisoned souls, and destroyed more than ten Soul Hall branch halls before reuniting with Xiao Yi Xian and Qing Lin.

Xiao Ling reunited with Medusa and their daughter, then freed Yao Ming and helped him reclaim the Nine Nether Nether Python Clan. He obtained the Yellow Springs Demon Saint’s inheritance and returned with the clan’s future entrusted to Yao Ming.
