As Bunpuku closed his eyes, the sand in the desert began gathering around him. Before long, a colossal beast, even bulkier than Gamahiro, appeared on the battlefield.

Shukaku's body was the same color as the sand. He looked like a gigantic raccoon dog, with violet markings across his body. His enormous tail whipped back and forth, kicking up clouds of yellow sand.

"Hey, Tohru, Shukaku's out! This just got a lot less fun." Gamahiro was about as big as Shukaku, but there was a huge gap in their strength.

"Yeah! He's a Tailed Beast, after all. One wrong move and we could die," Yamanaka Tohru said gravely.

"He Gu! You Sand Shinobi actually used a Tailed Beast!" Uchiha Shu's expression changed when he spotted Shukaku nearby. Yamanaka Tohru was at most a Quasi-Kage, and even with the giant toad, who was also a Quasi-Kage, they couldn't possibly defeat Shukaku.

"Hahaha! This was Lord Kazekage's plan. With the One-Tail here, that brat is as good as dead. It's worth sacrificing Shang Yu to kill him!"

Seeing He Gu's crazed expression and the One-Tail in the distance, Uchiha Shu could only pray that Yamanaka Tohru would somehow survive.

"Hahahaha! I'm finally free!" Shukaku awoke with a boisterous laugh.
