Flaming chunks of iron were scattered around Yamanaka Tohru, Pakura, and Sarura.
Sarura hadn't expected Yamanaka Tohru to withstand the combined attack he and Pakura had unleashed. Pakura, too, stared at Tohru in disbelief.
"How does Yamanaka Tohru know so many techniques? He didn't use any of these when he fought you?" Sarura asked, at a loss.
Pakura shook her head without saying a word. There was definitely something strange about this, and she didn't want to discuss it. Seeing that Pakura was silent, Sarura assumed she was thinking of a way to deal with Tohru.
"Pakura, we still need to work together. Even this kid's Ice Release can't withstand Scorch Release combined with Iron Sand. When the Scorch Release Kunai flew at him just now, his Ice Blade melted."
"Are you sure?" Pakura asked, surprised.
"Absolutely. If you don't believe me, try it on the chunk of ice that hit you over there," Sarura said.
"Fine. Let's try it!" Pakura agreed.
Together, the two of them made a small Kunai. Sarura controlled it and flew it toward the chunk of ice. Sure enough, the ice began to melt.
Seeing this, Pakura breathed a sigh of relief. Now that they'd found Tohru's weakness, they had a chance of winning.
Tohru had kept his Sharingan active, so he'd seen their experiment too. He hadn't expected his ice to melt.
This was the first time Tohru had seen his ice melt. Even when Hatake Sakumo had beaten him before, he'd simply cut through the ice with his sword.
The incident reminded Tohru that ice could only withstand so much heat. If exposed to temperatures beyond that limit, it would still melt.
After discovering that Scorch Release combined with Iron Sand could melt Tohru's ice, Pakura and Sarura launched another attack.
