Yamanaka Tohru trusted Hatake Sakumo, and the scroll didn't contain any confidential information about the Yamanaka Clan, so he handed it straight to him.

Sakumo took the scroll and skimmed it quickly. "Fifteen days! Not a day more. Ten days is plenty to get to Konoha and back at your speed. You're one of the battlefield commanders, and you've got the nerve to ask for a whole month off during wartime. I can't believe you had the gall to come here."

"Uncle Sakumo, fifteen days is too little! Can't you give me two more?"

Yamanaka Tohru knew that, as one of the battlefield commanders, it was inappropriate to take a long leave at a time like this. But after a year and a half of nonstop fighting, he felt utterly exhausted.
