After leaving Training Ground 7, Yamanaka Tohru immediately ran toward the Yamanaka Clan. He hadn't seen Yamanaka Seiko in a year and a half, and he missed her terribly.
Tohru's return to the clan grounds didn't cause much of a stir. In fact, it seemed everyone's attention was focused elsewhere.
The Yamanaka Clan's grounds were especially busy. Clan Head Yamanaka Inoichi was getting married, and the clan members were making preparations for the wedding.
Tohru first went to the house where his mother lived, but she wasn't there. He searched the grounds and still couldn't find her. With no other choice, he entered Sage Mode and used its sensory abilities to locate Yamanaka Seiko.
Tohru was surprised to find Seiko at an inn in Konoha, the kind of place where most visitors from outside the village stayed. He couldn't remember his mother having any friends from beyond the village, so he was a little worried.
After dropping Sage Mode, Tohru immediately entered Ice Lightning Mode and raced off with Lightning Body Flicker. He reached the inn in no time.
The inn looked luxurious, with an air of high-end elegance. Tohru didn't want to waste time dealing with the staff, so he used Lightning Body Flicker to go straight to the second floor.
