Background

Shell Girl was discovered on Chen Shouyi's Small Island inside a palm-sized, multicolored shell. She attempted to flee toward the sea immediately after emerging, but Chen captured her and later restrained her with a vine after she repeatedly tried to escape. 19 20

When Chen brought her to Earth, her shell became ordinary and she lost her ability to fly. He provided honey and doll-sized clothes, while she continued attempting escapes until returning to the Otherworld restored her powers. 21 22

During language lessons, she stated that she had no parents, no original name, and was born from a “Yata Flower,” which she then ate. She later led Chen to a crater-like hollow on the Small Island that she identified as her birthplace. 31 106

Shell Girl is a tiny humanoid female, approximately fourteen to fifteen centimeters tall. She normally resides in or carries a vividly colored shell and often wears princess dresses or other doll-sized clothing. 19 195
