Alvin wore a strange expression as he stared at him in surprise, wanting to say something but holding back.
"Mind changing locations?" Zephlin seemed able to guess what he wanted to say. His gaze shifted to one side as if extending an invitation.
"Sure."
Alvin was not afraid. After a brief moment of thought, he accepted the invitation.
On one hand, he had confidence in his own strength. On the other, he was curious about what the other man was plotting.
Seeing that Alvin knew he had come to kill him yet still accepted his invitation without hesitation, Zephlin felt a trace of admiration for his courage. His gaze softened unconsciously. "Follow me."
With that, he turned and left, and Alvin followed.
Before long, a deserted shop at the end of a street corner came into view, bearing the sign of Desire Paradise.
