Background / History

Wang Ji was orphaned young and grew up largely self-reliant. Upon reaching adulthood, his system activated; he initially framed his circumstances as those of a lone “protagonist” with hidden powers. 2

Du Qiangwei and Jess brought him into contact with Super God Academy. Though initially suspicious of the Academy’s alien personnel and wary of being controlled, Wang Ji chose to join the Super Soldier Company after deciding that resisting alien invasion was his responsibility as a citizen. 9 10

At the Academy, Wang Ji rapidly absorbed introductory scientific and superhuman knowledge, especially Wormhole Theory and related disciplines. He cultivated an intentionally distant image because he recognized that his anomalous powers and unknown gene source made blind trust dangerous. 18 23 49
