Background

Qi Lin served as a police officer in Juxia City. During the Airport Road crisis, Liu Chuang threatened her and other police officers; she refused to be intimidated, stating that she did not need protection. Wang Ji subsequently saved her and the officers from an explosion during the terrorist attack 4.

Wang Ji later identifies Qi Lin as an unawakened Super Gene carrier unknown to Super God Academy’s recruitment list 11. She arrives at the Academy as a former police officer, where Du Qiangwei assists with her arrangements and Wang Ji accompanies her to the cafeteria 24 25.

Initially, Qi Lin refuses to let gratitude for Wang Ji saving her determine her feelings.
