Chapter 1589: Trapped
Things were not over yet.
The Canadian operation team had gained a gang of local thugs in unfamiliar territory.
Who could have imagined it before?
Even a sinking ship had a few sound planks left. The Iron Hand Society was still one of Salt Lake City's top three gangs. Even after losing half its members and suffering a steep drop in numbers, those who remained still outnumbered the small-time gangs. A centipede could die without falling apart!
Especially after the new boss, Gerard Rodney, purged the dissenters in the Iron Hand Society. Anyone who harbored ulterior motives was forced to kneel by his new, fiercely loyal subordinate, Jim, a Black man, who pressed a revolver to their heads and shot them one by one. The two men were now tied together like grasshoppers on the same string. To survive this upheaval, they had no choice but to rely on each other and trust one another completely.
As the saying went, unity was strength. With their ranks united in purpose, the Iron Hand Society had lost little of its actual fighting power.
After paying a steep price and striking an illicit deal with the Police Department, they left some men behind to deal with the wounded and the bodies of their own people. The rest of the Iron Hand Society gangsters, led by their new boss Gerard, stormed back into Salt Lake City.
The Iron Hand Society had suffered a devastating blow and lost many men. It was only natural that other gangs would covet its standing in the underworld and even take advantage of its weakness to kick it while it was down.
Following the street code that if they couldn't have a good time, no one else would either, the Iron Hand Society planned to throw
