"Poison" Saint Falls
Enmenam had provided the Saint's Association with a wealth of information about prehistoric civilization. In return, the Saint's Association had prepared a new resting place for this prehistoric hero. It was a completely fair exchange.
Beep!~
Sophia Green, the "Word Spirit" Saint, heard a soft chime from her laptop. The rapid clatter of her typing came to an abrupt stop.
"What's going on? Did someone break through?"
Merlin Jack, the "Magic" Saint, immediately grew tense and asked.
The Saint's Association had sealed away information about the prehistoric hero Enmenam. Their greatest safeguard was this female writer, who used the power of Word Spirit to secretly manipulate things, ensuring that all the forces trying to gather intelligence came up empty-handed.
"No, it looks like there's a bad sector on the hard drive. Some files are corrupted. I'll have to check."
Sophia Green resumed typing. She soon discovered that the document called "Li Bai's unlucky fat friend" had turned into gibberish, and that was where the bad sector was, too.
The hard drive in her laptop was top-of-the-line, so it wouldn't develop problems easily. If something like this happened, it meant the authority of Word Spirit had failed. The main thread of Li Bai's unlucky fat friend's fate no longer followed the story in the document; it had veered sharply off course. The story, imbued with the power of Word Spirit, had naturally collapsed and become corrupted.
If it had been printed on paper, the paper would have crumbled into dust and vanished without a trace.
To put everyone at ease, Sophia Green, the "Word Spirit" Saint, promptly explained, "It's nothing serious. Someone cracked the Word Spirit on an unrelated document."
She had written many documents, but cases where the authority of Word Spirit was breached were exceedingly rare.
