Every all-terrain off-road vehicle and every Saint Candidate was equipped with communications, positioning, and audio-visual equipment.
Whatever these 117 candidates could see or hear, and wherever they were, the "Fox Den" command center far away at the edge of the desert could see and hear it all in sync, while confirming their current positions.
At a low altitude of around 500 meters above the ground, two turboprop drones were hovering and cruising. Acting as airborne signal relays, they collected all the data from the ground and relayed it to the "Fox Den" command center. They did not dare fly too high, afraid of attracting the attention of the air-defense systems of the two countries.
The "Saint's Association" had paid a considerable price to specially commission these two drones. They possessed a certain degree of radar stealth design and splinter camouflage coating, and even used some electromagnetic wave absorbing stealth coating obtained through covert means. This made their overall RCS radar cross section extremely small. Combined with their low cruising speed, even if they were detected by radar, they could easily be mistaken for two eagles spreading their wings and soaring through the sky.
The progress of the trial was not particularly promising. Lacking military training, the candidates had extremely low firearms efficiency and were consuming weapons and ammunition far too quickly. Their combat power was plummeting like a cliff, and their ability to protect themselves was becoming precarious as well.
Even though their individual combat abilities were not weak, they were still far from enough when facing hordes of zombies that felt neither pain nor fear of death.
The scene became bloody and horrific, and the Saint Candidates let out desperate howls.
One candidate after another was swallowed up by the zombies. Screams and the thunderous booms of
