1745. Drones
Whether two or three hours had passed, the wind outside the barrier gradually weakened, and the light slowly returned.
The mighty sandstorm had not lasted long. At last, it subsided, and countless grains of sand drifted back to the ground. Near and far, everything was hazy; tiny dust particles formed an aerosol haze that would take a while to disperse.
Protected by Qingyao Demoness's Demonic Arts barrier, the dune beneath the six all-terrain off-road vehicles had not shifted. It remained as solid as a rock. Diana hugged Li Bai's arm and naturally leaned against him. Looking out at the vast sea of sand beyond the barrier, she couldn't help asking, "You're not worried at all, are you?"
He had known the weather conditions were unsuitable, yet had plunged into the desert without a moment's hesitation. There were only two possibilities: either he was stupid enough to get himself killed, or he had something to rely on and was confident in his plans.
Now it seemed that her boyfriend was clearly the latter.

Li Bai was puzzled.
"Power" Saint Hercules had viewed the sandstorm as an apocalyptic scene, while the prehistoric hero Enmenam had dismissed it with disdain. Li Bai, too, hadn't taken such a terrifying natural phenomenon seriously.
It had merely delayed them a little and hadn't affected their journey at all.
