Leaving Plan
"What time will the helicopter arrive? Hong Bin's condition is under control now, but moving him won't be easy."
Li Bai held his phone. He could now make out what the unmanned reconnaissance aircraft looked like.
It wasn't a balanced drone with multiple propellers. It was a fixed-wing aircraft, with a single propeller at the rear of its fuselage. It looked a bit like the American P-38 Lightning fighter from World War II, except it didn't have two engines.
Its fixed-wing design made its flight speed and endurance better suited to the rugged terrain of Helan Mountain. A multirotor drone would probably have to turn back as soon as it entered the mountains, since its range was so limited. Its static stability was excellent, and it could capture clear, steady images, but it was terrible at handling turbulence. One strong gust of wind would probably send it tumbling.
"The helicopter's been arranged. It can take off at any time."
Professor Zhu Chaoye had made the arrangements. He was at the command site, personally keeping in contact with everyone on the rescue team.
"Good. But make absolutely sure nobody goes into the tunnel. It's too dangerous in there."
Just making this trip had been enough trouble for Li Bai. He didn't want to have to rescue anyone a second time, so he reminded Professor Zhu again.
If some fool went in again, they'd have no one to blame but themselves. Let them die, for all he cared!
He certainly wasn't going to rescue them again.
Li Bai had always hated trouble. If he ran into someone who was a hassle, he naturally kept his distance and avoided them whenever he could.
"No, absolutely not. Don't worry. The Public Security Bureau has sent people to seal off the tomb. There
