Shen Tang’s army fought through the transformed Yudi Mountains and contested the bridge and waterway against the Central Allied Army. As her forces prepared to cross the Iron Chain Bridge, Jimò Qiu survived Yuan Nü Jūn’s soul-rending attack and challenged her to use the Time Arrow again.

• Tan Ting’s sister revealed the captives’ fate, then killed herself after Shen Tang saved Madam Shen and Tan Ting begged her to live.
• Bai Su and Wu Xian uncovered the Gu Worm infection in the mountains, defeated the infected general, and sent warnings to Shen Tang, who identified the strange stones as contaminated ore.
• Shen Tang assigned Chu Jie, Su Shi Yilu, and Kang Shi to contest the waterway and bridge, where they fought the Central Allied Army in a simulated battlefield and drove it to retreat.
• Shen Tang was injured by a runaway warhorse, while Jiang Sheng and Luo San discovered that magnetic mineral beneath the ravine disrupted attacks across the bridge.

Shen Tang’s forces seized the Iron Chain Bridge and besieged Stone Fort while confronting contaminated water and gathering threats. After expanding her campaign and securing Qu Country’s refusal to ally with the Central Branch, Shen Tang turned her attention to the Central Continent.

• Jimò Qiu killed Yuan Nü Jūn, rose to the 20th Rank Che Hou, and lost the bow and rank after using its Time Arrow against the enemy.
• Shen Tang’s army crossed the Iron Chain Bridge, defeated the Central Allied Army near Stone Fort, and captured several masters.
• Shen Tang’s forces discovered radioactive contamination in the river, and Jimò Qiu used a divine plant to purify it.
• Shen Tang used Gu Worm pills to restrict surrendered masters and began searching for an heir to Yuan Nü Jūn’s Time Arrow.
• Jimò Qiu revealed that spiritual qi was returning and warned Gu Chi that an Investiture of the Gods was approaching.
• Lin Feng disguised herself as Lin Chun, opened the city gates for Shen Tang’s army, and reunited with her brother and father.

• Tan Qu revived as a creature that craved raw blood and feared he might infect himself while trying to help a corpse, as Yu Hai stayed beside him.
• Shen Tang’s forces exposed the Central Allied Army’s betrayal at Stone Fort, captured its commander, and found thousands of dead soldiers inside.
• Chu Yao foresaw a plague in Fengluo, prompting Shen Tang and her officials to mobilize physicians, secure water supplies, and prepare the city for an outbreak.
• The Inner Society’s pathogen infected Fengluo through contaminated water, and Ning Yan sealed the city while officials and wealthy families tried to flee.
• Dong Dao and the Xinglin Physicians drew the pathogen into their transformed Dantians with the Medical School Sacred Hall’s aid, allowing patients to recover and Fengluo to begin easing restrictions.
• Chu Yao’s Perfection Ritual left him near death, so Shen Tang entered its flower-filled dreamscape and searched through false versions of his life for him.
• Shen Tang found Chu Yao in a dark alley in Xiaocheng, brought him back to the flower field, and learned his ritual was ninety-nine percent complete.
• Shen Tang woke in camp and saw white mourning banners after asking where Gongyi was, then demanded to know who had died.

Shen Tang’s forces broke the Central Allied Army’s ambush and pursued its retreat while Kang Country faced poisoned farmland and a locust plague. Gongxi Chou returned with news that the Four Pillars were cracking, leaving Shen Tang to question Yun Da’s account of the National Seals.

• Chu Yao revealed his future-sight and warned Shen Tang of a night raid, while Shen Tang staged a mock funeral to lure the Central Allied Army into a trap.
• Xiang Zhao escaped the allied camp with intelligence, and Yang Ying, Lu Ji, and Gongyang Yongye captured an invading general as Shen Tang exposed the enemy’s layered schemes.
• Wu You impersonated General Wang, exposed Alliance Leader Zhao’s betrayal through trumpet mushrooms, and fled with Jimò Qiu while the Good Thought took control of her.
• Shen Tang’s forces stormed the allied camp and uncovered tunnels through which elite troops had escaped, then pursued them as Yang Ying and Kang Shi fought through the retreat route.
