The Yellow Robe Old Man trapped in the Primordial Realm spared thirty-two Heaven-Wielding Realm Old Ancestors in exchange for cultivation resources, then realized Yang Tianni and Qin Guan had been using him. Qin Guan broke through to the Heaven-Wielding Realm peak, but Xiao Guo could not advance his divine power further without a stronger source of power.

• Yang Tianni's Sword Qi blocked the Old Ancestors' Bloodline Sense, preventing them from summoning help, and the Yellow Robe Old Man threatened to kill them.

• Qin Guan fed Xiao Guo one wisp of Primordial Dao Qi, then gave it the thirty remaining wisps after Xiao Guo promised to raise his Divine Power.
• Xiao Guo refused to help the Little Black Tower work out its Sister Great Dao and accused it of having spied on her.

Qin Guan reunited with his companions after the Yellow Robe Old Man revealed that Yang Tianni had trapped the Primordial Realm inside a protective Sword Array. The chapter left Qin Guan face-to-face with Dao Demon, who had escaped his seal.

• The Third Elder warned Zhou Xuan that Qin Guan had taken two spirits containing the Cross-Realm Secret Technique and might erase their imprints, leaving the Primordial Realm unable to withstand the great annihilation.

Yang Tianni and Tao Baibai left for the Underworld to investigate, while Lü Zheng'an's group concluded that the white-robed man and his companions were trapping the Primordial Realm and that the coffin might help them.
