"I'm sorry, Xue Ke. I cannot disobey my lord's orders." Bi Ji looked at Xue Ke with deep apology in her eyes.
"You don't need to apologize to me. After all, I am human, while you are soul beasts."
Bi Ji hesitated slightly, then spat out a palm-sized emerald crystal.
"This is the Essence of Life. It contains exceptionally pure life energy. I relied on it to survive heavenly tribulation after heavenly tribulation."
After saying that, Bi Ji handed the Essence of Life to Xue Ke.

Xue Ke found a clean spot and sat down. Holding the Essence of Life in her palm, she circulated her Soul Power and began absorbing it.
Drawn by Xue Ke's Soul Power, the Essence of Life emitted a faint glow. Xue Ke felt an incomparably pure energy flow into her body and gradually merge with her spiritual energy, circulating throughout her body. The dark green glow over her bones grew increasingly intense with the flow of that energy, while the meridians throughout her body continued to widen.
Xue Ke greatly enjoyed the feeling of this transformation. Gradually, she forgot the time and even where she was.
After an unknown amount of time, Xue Ke felt that the energy within her body had reached
