With my wisdom tooth inflamed, tonsillitis, a cold, and a stuffy nose all finally clearing up, my mind is moving rather slowly. Even after a nap and sitting here for two hours, I still haven't figured out who to write about or what to write for today's character side story. I won't write anything unless I have a good idea and a solid plot, so let's take another day off~ As I write this, I seem to be having trouble holding back my excitement. All right, the above is true, but the main reason is still that lazy streak of mine...
Actually, there aren't many character side stories left to write. Elder Brother became the Human Emperor and is living happily ever after; his story has already been rounded out from the sidelines, so there's no need to write more. Senior Chong He, Mu Yunle, and Yuan Yang can't carry side stories on their own, at most appearing in someone else's tale. So the planned side stories are now just: the Master and Uncle arc, the Zhao Laowu the Nobody arc (perhaps combined with another), one each for Meng Qi and Xiao Sang, and Yang Jian's recollections of the past before he attained the Other Shore. That's about it. If I'm in the mood, I might write a prequel, "Shining Stars Chapter" (though I doubt I'll ever get around to it...).
