Si Yao, meanwhile, chose to stay behind for the time being at the villa in the suburbs.

Time to digest his recent gains, and, more importantly, time to turn the enormous number of True Points in his hands into actual combat power capable of weathering the storms to come.
The eight Realm Divine Powers he had initially designed had all now been successfully manifested in their basic forms. They covered suppression, corrosion, defense, elements, mental abilities, regeneration, mimicry, and summoning. This combination was enough to let him easily suppress most Third Generation Gods in the Known Universe.
But it still wasn't enough.
Back in Liangshan, he had seemed to win a round against Sun Wukong and had even forced him to use his God-Slaying Power. But Si Yao knew that was mainly because Sun Wukong had never gone all out. For the most part, he had been testing him and "teaching" him.
If That Monkey had really been serious, Si Yao's current strength would have been nowhere near enough to deal with him.
So the Divine Power Encoding he had initially manifested needed a comprehensive upgrade to its algorithms and a technical overhaul.
He steadied his mind, sinking his consciousness deep into the Seed of Delusion, and began to completely rebuild and elevate his existing Power System.

This could cause its Gene Engine to produce false results, its Weapon System to malfunction, or its Micro Wormhole positioning to shift.

This would no longer be mere Energy Suppression and sensory deprivation. The upgraded domain would possess the ability to "rewrite laws." Within it, Si Yao could set temporary, localized "Physical Rules," such as "Micro Wormholes cannot open," "Energy Shield efficiency is forcibly reduced to zero," or "specific God-Slaying Algorithms are disabled." This would be a strategic, targeted absolute exclusion zone.

This would elevate its effects beyond the direct decay of matter, accelerating "entropy" itself. The upgraded ability could act directly on a target's Super Gene and Divine Body Structure, accelerating irreversible deterioration and collapse. Even the powerful Regeneration Ability of a Third Generation God would be woefully inadequate against this law of accelerated "aging" and "decay."

The defense system would rise from the physical level to the conceptual level. It would no longer merely strengthen the density and structural integrity of his Divine Body. Instead, it would deeply anchor his very "existence" to the concept of "indestructibility." This meant attacks against his physical form would be greatly weakened, while attacks attempting to erase him through space, dimensions, or even the Information Layer would also face significant interference and resistance.

This rewind could even repair some injuries caused by attacks on the Information Layer.

This would no longer be a simple matter of resurrecting the dead. After the upgrade, he would be able to capture and analyze the "Dark Data" left behind by powerful beings he had personally killed, then reconstruct it into "Data Ghosts" loyal to him and possessing some of their former abilities. These Ghosts were immune to most physical attacks and would be exceptionally difficult special troops to deal with.
This upgrade would be a comprehensive transformation from the Application Layer to the Underlying Logic, delving from the manipulation of macroscopic phenomena into the rewriting of microscopic laws.
Si Yao slowly opened his eyes, countless streams of complex data flickering in them.
The blueprint was complete. Next, he just had to wait for enough "fuel" to once again "make the false real."
Just as Si Yao was absorbed in envisioning his New Power System, a familiar, rather boisterous Energy Fluctuation drew closer, breaking the villa's silence.
Lena came swooping down in a flurry, her face beaming with the pride of someone bringing a gift.
"Hey, Si Yao! Look what I brought for your Little Fox!"
As soon as she finished speaking, a Micro Wormhole opened in the space behind her. A metal case gleaming with a dark gold luster slid out and landed steadily in the middle of the Living Room.
"Here you go. The gear I promised! I had Old Pan rush it over!" Lena said proudly, patting the case.
The lid slid open without a sound, revealing the equipment inside.
A brand-new Dark Alloy Armor, its sleek lines tailored for a woman's figure, lay nestled inside. Exquisite Lieyang Patterns were engraved across its surface, reflecting the light with a restrained yet magnificent sheen.
Beside the armor lay a pair of finely crafted daggers, their edges glowing with a searing red light.
Tiny Energy Cores were set into the hilts. They were clearly no ordinary weapons.
"Latest-model Dark Alloy Armor. Its defense is at least a whole level above the gear the Xiong Bing Lian got. And these beauties..." Lena picked up one of the daggers and tossed it in her hand.
"Lieyang-grade God-Slaying Daggers, equipped with our Lieyang Civilization's special Stellar Drive Algorithm. They have incredible burst power—enough to pierce through the defenses of most Third Generation God Bodies."
The equipment was worth far more than Lena's casual promise had suggested.
In fact, Pan Zhen, the guardian god of Lieyang, had personally contacted her from Lieyang Star about the gear.
At first, Pan Zhen had wondered if their unreliable Main God had gone to Earth to keep a pretty boy and needed Lieyang's resources to win him over.
But when he saw that the Dark Alloy Armor request was for a woman, he was even more baffled.
Could it be... Lena had turned gay on Earth?
Because of this, Pan Zhen had even contacted Lena in person through Tiandao Tower, subtly asking about her recent "friendships."

The moment Su Xiao Li saw the gleaming new armor in the middle of the Living Room, her eyes lit up. Almost unable to contain herself, she put it on under Lena's guidance.
The dark gold armor fit her shapely figure perfectly, making her look bold and heroic. The pair of Lieyang Daggers in her hands added an even sharper edge to her presence.
"Wow! So cool!" Su Xiao Li excitedly spun around a few times, checking out her reflection on the polished floor. She clearly loved the tailor-made gift.
But Si Yao's brows furrowed slightly.
"It doesn't quite fit."
The smile on Lena's face froze. She looked a little upset. "What doesn't fit? This is the latest model from Lieyang. It's cool and practical. How does it not fit?"
She had chosen the gift with great care and had even asked Pan Zhen's people to make some adjustments to the details!
