However, as they fought, Morgana began to sense something was wrong.

He Xi's Sacred Body was definitely more effective in close combat than her Fourth Generation Space-Time God Body.

She had prepared the chain carefully. It was one of her trump cards, intended to ambush Kaisha at a crucial moment in the future. But now, to break the stalemate, she couldn't afford to keep it hidden!

He Xi clearly hadn't expected her to act so decisively. Just as Morgana had hoped, the sudden chain pierced straight through her body! The clone's entire form dimmed, and it lost its ability to fight.

Yet, strangely, the Star Fate held fast by the Demon Claw continued to struggle violently, its silver light flashing. Its control hadn't been affected in the slightest.

Morgana first froze, then immediately understood. She was so furious she nearly exploded on the spot, and cursed, "He Xi! You old bitch! So this really isn't your True Body!!!"

But before she could curse much more, ripples began to spread through the space around her, one after another.

Wormholes quietly opened.

Then seven clones, each identical to the He Xi she had just "killed," slowly flew out of the wormholes from every direction.

Each "He Xi" held a God-Slaying Weapon that glinted coldly.

The scene was, for a moment, extremely awkward.

"What other tricks do you have? Let's see them," all seven He Xis said in unison.

Surrounded by seven clones wielding God-Slaying Weapons, Morgana felt her heart sink.

She couldn't fight them head-on!

She was confident she could force her way out if she fought to the death, but she would definitely get hurt—and badly.

She didn't want to end up like last time, when Kaisha hunted her down and she had to hide in a corner, quietly nursing her wounds for a thousand years! A thousand years from now, Earth's situation and the ownership of the Space-Time Gene would have changed beyond recognition!

"Old bitch, you win!" Morgana cursed, then prepared to flee without hesitation.

The main body of He Xi's Heavenly Base Computing Group was linked to Merlo Heavenly City's Defense System. That thing definitely wasn't here.

That meant the seven clones before her were most likely being sustained by one of He Xi's Heavenly Base Series Battleships.

And in order to control so many highly precise clones in battle at once, He Xi definitely wouldn't have enough Computing Power left to seal off space!

Once she'd figured that out, Morgana gave up on continuing the fight. She spread her arms, unleashing an immense surge of Dark Energy, and began calculating the surrounding space on a massive scale!

As long as she could forcibly tear open a stable wormhole here, she could escape!

He Xi had naturally seen through Morgana's intentions, but right now, she really had no way to keep her from leaving by force.

When it came to Wormhole Technology, she was indeed less gifted than Liang Bing.

In the Known Universe, only Kaisha could use the terrifying Computing Power of the Sacred Knowledge Treasury to forcibly suppress Morgana's Space Jump.

The Computing Power she could currently bring to bear really wasn't enough to completely seal off Morgana's movements.

So He Xi could only turn her gaze toward the man in the distance who'd been watching the whole time.

Not helping Morgana didn't mean he would help He Xi.

Seeing Morgana's intentions, Angel Yan and the others could no longer stand by and do nothing!

She simply kept the four badly wounded angels firmly restrained, then looked at He Xi and sneered. "Old bitch! Release the Space Blockade at once and let me leave!"

"Otherwise, I might as well kill all four of them right here today and fight you again! I'd only get a little hurt. In exchange for taking out four High-Level Guardian Angels and your precious Sacred Wings... I'd come out ahead!"

Besides, the "things" implanted in Angel Yan and Zhi Xin hadn't reached the point where they could truly be activated. They were worth far more than that.

He Xi fell silent for a moment. At last, the invisible Blocking Force Field surrounding the wasteland slowly dissipated.

Morgana snorted and immediately constructed a large wormhole, preparing to leave with her "hostages."
