Background / History

Zhi Xin is Skybase King Hexi's disciple and initially serves as Holy Keisha's Right Wing Guard. When Hexi hesitates to approach the unknown Si Yao directly, Zhi Xin volunteers to represent Merlot Heavenly Court for initial contact. Hexi entrusts her with Heavenly Base Four's computing support and orders her to prioritize observation, communication, and retreat over provoking Si Yao. 32

She formally visits Si Yao at his villa as Hexi's envoy. Her disciplined manners, direct concern for Hexi's safety, and rigidly proper conduct sharply contrast with Angel Yan's more aggressive approach. 38

After being severely injured while fighting a Void Mech, Zhi Xin is saved and healed by Si Yao. Following Keisha's instruction, she swears an Oath of Protection and becomes Si Yao's Guardian Angel, pledging her life and loyalty to him. 129 130
