These days, they weren't trying as hard as before to conceal the existence of aliens. After all, before long, all of this would be out in the open. They might as well let everyone get a little prepared in advance.

"There was also a Taotie squad at the scene. They seemed to have received the news beforehand, though we can't rule out the possibility that they were the ones who revived Crocodile God Soton," Lianfeng said.

Crocodile God Soton had merely exchanged a glance with Si Yao before obediently following him. Judging by his expression, he'd been absolutely terrified!

"Of course, gods with powerful mental abilities are extremely rare. On top of that, Crocodile God Soton had only just revived and was in his Weakness Period. We can't rule out the possibility that Si Yao used some special mental ability to control him," Lianfeng said.

"Control a Beast God with a Peak Beast Body?" Dukao furrowed his brow.

Lianfeng shrugged. "Based on what we saw at the scene, it's highly likely."

When Crocodile God Soton had appeared on Earth a thousand years ago, he'd been extremely savage. But when he faced Si Yao, he seemed timid and cowed.

They hadn't fought, yet he'd acted like that. The only explanation was that Si Yao had some kind of special mental technique that forcibly suppressed Crocodile God Soton.

Otherwise, the Beast God wouldn't have been so obedient.

"Where are they now?" Dukao asked.

"They're heading back to Juxia City," Lianfeng said.

"Si Yao placed a Cognitive Impairment on Crocodile God Soton. Humans on Earth will instinctively overlook his presence, so it hasn't caused much of a stir."

"Go meet him in person and find out what he's after," Dukao said.

"An ancient Old God with powerful mental abilities, along with a Beast God with a Peak Beast Body. If anything goes wrong, Earth will be in even deeper trouble."

Deno Three couldn't stand against this Pangu Old God. If a conflict broke out, no one knew what might happen.

Because of Soton's size, Si Yao had to find somewhere else to stay.

With the Kongshi Realm Divine Power, he could now forcibly hack into Earth's internet. Money was just a number to him—he could put in as much as he wanted.

As for whether he'd get caught and run into trouble, it seemed he didn't need to worry about that anymore.

"B-Boss, when're we gonna eat?"

Soton crouched in the back of the pickup and asked cautiously.

Sitting in the driver's seat, Si Yao glanced at Soton huddled in the truck bed through the rearview mirror. "What's the rush? Once we get there, you'll have something to eat."

At that, Soton perked up. "Boss, will there be meat there? I haven't had any in ages."

"There'll be plenty." Si Yao spoke calmly, then pressed harder on the accelerator. The pickup raced down the road, kicking up a cloud of dust.

Meanwhile, following Dukao's instructions, Lianfeng quickly made the arrangements and prepared to visit this unidentified ancient Old God with Qiangwei.

Although Lianfeng had been making arrangements for this since six months ago, she hadn't made a personal appearance until today.

"Aunt Lianfeng, why did you secretly monitor him last time?" Qiangwei couldn't help asking.

When dealing with aliens, there were plenty of things to keep in mind. Lianfeng had taught her that herself. It was especially important to be polite when dealing with powerful Super Soldiers and God-Tier Units.

"Something like that." Lianfeng nodded.

Dukao had indeed ordered the surveillance partly because he was worried Lena would cause trouble. After all, the Lieyang Main God was incredibly young. She was only in her twenties, practically a kid. Even though she had a Super Brain and could see things they couldn't, Lieyang clearly wasn't ready to let Lena learn about the darker parts of history.

Under the circumstances, Lena might be well-traveled, but in practice, she wasn't much different from a kid like Qiangwei.

Faced with an ancient Old God from an unknown civilization, Lena's carefree personality might really offend him. And given her dangerous, walking-disaster nature, he could easily see her as a threat.

They'd watched from behind the scenes so they could step in and stop things if Lena failed to show restraint.

After all, their meeting had taken place in Juxia City!
