On the outskirts of Juxia City, Si Yao parked his car in front of a luxury villa.
He had bought the villa after using Kongshi Realm Divine Power to gather information from the internet. It was secluded, with few people around, making it the perfect place to house Suo Dun.
"We're here. Get out," Si Yao said, opening the car door and addressing Suo Dun in the back.
Suo Dun hopped out in one bound. "Boss, I'm living here from now on?"
"That's right. But you have to behave. If you cause any trouble, don't expect me to go easy on you," Si Yao said calmly.
Suo Dun nodded rapidly. "Don't worry, boss. I'll be on my best behavior."
As soon as they entered the villa, they were met with a mountain of takeout containers, nearly all filled with meat. Si Yao had contacted several restaurants an hour earlier and had them prepare the food.
Suo Dun's eyes went wide at the sight of all that meat, and he started drooling uncontrollably.
"Go ahead and eat. Just don't litter," Si Yao said.
Suo Dun cheered and pounced on the food. He tore open the bags with both hands and stuffed huge chunks of meat into his mouth, grease running down his chin. In no time, he had devoured most of the takeout—nearly a hundred servings.
While Suo Dun was busy feasting, Lianfeng and Qiangwei used Deno Three's tracking system to quickly locate the villa where Si Yao and Suo Dun were staying.
Standing outside, Qiangwei took a deep breath, then rang the doorbell.
At the sound, Suo Dun looked up instinctively. "Is more food here?"
"These two aren't food," Si Yao said, heading for the door.
Si Yao opened it. Seeing Lianfeng and Qiangwei standing outside, he remained composed and stepped aside to let them in. "Come in."
Lianfeng and Qiangwei exchanged a glance, then cautiously entered the villa.
The moment they came in, they saw takeout packaging scattered all over the floor—and Suo Dun, with his Vast Body Size, bent over his food and still eating.
"Don't be nervous. He won't do anything," Si Yao said.
As a Peak Beast Body, Suo Dun was a combat god specialized in physical enhancements, but he wasn't strong mentally. Against Si Yao's powerful mental abilities, he had no way to resist. Even if he suddenly got it into his head to rebel, Si Yao was confident he could keep him under control.
Besides, Angel Chase had implanted some strange things in Suo Dun, leaving him somewhat simple-minded.
That wasn't to say he was stupid, of course.
Angel Chase hadn't weakened Suo Dun's intelligence; she had only implanted some angelic ideas in him.

"Boss, I'm still hungry." Suo Dun turned and pointed to the takeout he had already polished off, looking at Si Yao with an innocent expression.
"More is on the way. It should be here in about ten minutes. Wait," Si Yao said.
"Oh." Suo Dun obediently sat cross-legged on the floor and fell silent.
Seeing the Crocodile God Soton, so savage a thousand years ago, acting so docilely left Lianfeng momentarily at a loss.
"Is there something you need?" Si Yao asked.
Lianfeng paused, then turned to him and said formally, "Hello, Mr. Si Yao. I'm Lianfeng, a Scholar at Super Seminary."
"I know. You've been keeping an eye on me for six months," Si Yao said.
"During our previous interactions, you showed some restraint. But last time, you were very rude."
Lianfeng lowered her head slightly. "I'm sorry, Mr. Si Yao. The circumstances were unusual last time. The girl who came with Qiangwei was still young, and we were worried she might not know how to handle things appropriately, so..."
Si Yao leaned back against the sofa and looked at Lianfeng impassively. "Do you think you're capable of lying to me?"
Lianfeng stiffened, then smiled wryly and shook her head. "Mr. Si Yao, we were indeed in the wrong last time, but we absolutely didn't mean to offend you."
"I know. Otherwise, you wouldn't have made it through that door," Si Yao said.
Lianfeng wasn't a Super Soldier, but a Gene Engineering researcher whose lifespan had been extended. To him, her mind was like an open glass box. Apart from the top-secret information encrypted layer upon layer by Deno Three, he could see exactly what she was thinking and what she planned to say next.
His last encounter with Lena had been arranged by Dukao. Dukao had worried that Lieyang might win over this suddenly appeared Ancient Old God, putting Earth at risk, so he had taken the risk of sabotaging their meeting. That had left Si Yao with a bad impression of Super Seminary—and of Lena as well.
Faced with an Ancient Old God of unknown origins like him, Super Seminary wouldn't rashly invite him to join them. He wasn't one of those children carrying Super Genes.
To put it bluntly, he wasn't easy to fool. Try, and they might end up inviting a wolf into the house.
Lianfeng understood the meaning behind Si Yao's words. After a moment of silence, she spoke slowly. "Mr. Si Yao, since you understand our concerns, could you please tell us honestly why you came to Earth? Earth is going through troubled times, and there are many matters that force us to be cautious."
Super Seminary didn't want to come into conflict with an Ancient Old God who could suppress a Peak Beast Body. Maintaining friendly relations was ideal; even if they couldn't become friends, they at least didn't want him as an enemy.
"I don't know why I came to Earth," Si Yao said.
"I suddenly woke up, and when I opened my eyes, I was in this strange world."
"Primitive, backward, and savage—a world ruled by a pack of monkeys that haven't finished evolving."
Qiangwei's eye twitched. Even though this wasn't the first time she had heard Si Yao describe Earth with such contempt, she still couldn't help getting angry.
Lianfeng's expression didn't change. She continued to look at Si Yao calmly. "Mr. Si Yao, perhaps Earth looks that way to you. But to the people who live here, it's their home, with countless lives worth protecting."
"Besides, this civilization is still young. It has a lot of possibilities."
"And the possibilities you're talking about are those few kids carrying Super Genes?" Si Yao waved his hand. Several holographic screens appeared along the side of the hall, displaying Ge Xiaolun and the others, who were at Super Seminary at that moment.
"Galaxy Power, who will cleave the void... Heh!"
Si Yao couldn't help laughing.
Lianfeng furrowed her brow. "What do you mean?"
"A civilization that knows nothing about the void thinks it can face it?" Si Yao said coolly.
"You're not even qualified to face me!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Si Yao raised a hand slightly, a faint glimmer flashing in his eyes.
In an instant, the previously clear sky outside the villa changed. Thick clouds gathered like a surging tide, swiftly blanketing the skies over all of Juxia City until not a ray of light remained.
Howling winds sprang up, bending the trees around the villa and making them creak ominously.
Then, blinding bolts of lightning darted through the clouds like dragons, lighting up the dark world from time to time. Deafening thunder followed, as if the universe itself were roaring.
The storm raged over Juxia City like a ferocious beast, sweeping up dust and debris into the sky.
