The Shenhe Civilization’s collapse was associated with a mysterious energy field. The Space Principal and Karl found Void matter in its aftermath, though whether the Void caused the collapse remains uncertain 6 40. The Space Principal chose to defend against the unknown threat; research using the Cosmic Tree produced simulated Void matter and Anti-Void technology, which contributed to the development of Galaxy Power 5 39.

Karl seeks to open a connection that would allow Void gods into the main biological plane 39. The Angels also researched Void technology in secret, while Holy Keisha publicly denied the Void’s existence to prevent panic in the newly united Angel Civilization 39.

• Void Engines and weapons — Apply Void matter or abilities without requiring their users to understand or summon the Void itself 20 39.
• Anti-Void — Developed as a defense against Void technology. Su Xinghe and Ge Xiaolun can use Anti-Void abilities directly 2 39 44.
• Black Hole Engine — A type of Void Engine made with Void matter obtained by exploding a black hole. Gerrry says its artificial black holes cannot be solved at the current physical level, though a Void Engine or large celestial computer can suppress them 20.
