Angel Nebula.
In subspace, a strong electronic signal flickered incessantly.
[Active purification hub detected, "Reactivation Protocol" initiated!]
[Attempting to contact "Central Processor" -- Subspace link normal, connection successful!]
[Querying control unit, query complete, 100% standard accommodation and processing... Guardian Protocol initiated!]
[Space Starport activation complete... Activating war facilities!]
[Detected "Purification Protocol" signal active, "Final Defense Protocol" activated!]
[Organic lifeforms retrieved, unknown information index source retrieved--]
[Decoding... Angel... Dark Plane Gene System...]
[Retrieval complete, target unit confirmed as frail organic!]
[Organic Sanctuary adapted, attempting to monitor this species, executing standard "living display"...]
Traveling at light speed, swarms of mechanical clusters patrolled the planet's interior, engulfing the entire Merlot Star.
Traces of war were virtually erased. The once glorious Angel Palace and other structures of Angel City were mostly leveled.
In their place stood massive dome-shaped buildings—
Organic Heaven!
A colossal Star Ring Base was being constructed around Merlot Star, providing endless material supplies for Organic Heaven and establishing a complete planetary defense system.
Keisha and Hexi awoke groggily within the dome structures, not understanding what had happened.
They had been discussing how to respond to the Human Federation's declaration of war.
A million Angel Warriors had gathered, and the Heavenly Blade Battleship fleet was ready, but an unexpected event had arrived sooner than the war with the Federation.
A powerful computational index source descended, directly breaching the Angel Nebula's information defense network, which was centered around the Sacred Knowledge Treasury and the Sky-based Computing Cluster.
By the time that computational index source invaded Keisha's Dark Plane, it was already too late.
The Dark Plane was essentially a sub-biological world space structure created using dark matter resources, a miniature version of a special model artificial subspace structure.
It could store external matter and accommodate and reserve dark data information.
Nearly every God-level Civilization in the known universe possessed the ability to create a Dark Plane.
Establishing a Super Gene System within the Dark Plane could allow the Divine Body to exert greater function and power.
However, this also left a nearly fatal flaw: once the Dark Plane was invaded and successfully breached, even a Divine Keisha would be forced offline.
That massive computational index source not only far surpassed Keisha's Sacred Knowledge Treasury in algorithms but also completely crushed Keisha's resistance in terms of computational power.
Within the Angel Civilization's system, every Angel Warrior's Dark Plane Gene System was directly connected to Keisha's Sacred Knowledge Treasury.
This greatly enhanced the combat capabilities of individual Angel Warriors and the Angel legions as a whole, but in a sense, it also bound their Dark Plane Gene Systems together.
In a mere instant, Keisha and the high-ranking Angel guards under her command were almost entirely offline.
Control of the Sacred Knowledge Treasury was seized!
Hexi, the only one left, could not hold on alone, and the Sky-based Computing Cluster's defenses also collapsed.
Without the leadership of the two Angel Kings, the remaining Angel Warriors could not resist the subsequent invasion.
A vast swarm of mechanical clusters, obscuring the sky, numbered in the hundreds of millions.
They, along with a fleet of thousands of unmanned ships, appeared from nowhere and attacked the leaderless Angel Warriors and Heavenly Blade Battleship fleet.
In this battle, the Angels had no power to resist.
It started fast and ended just as quickly.
The defense system built by the Heavenly Blade Battleship fleet was no match for the enemy fleet.
The spacetime shields constructed by the battleships were either shattered by the enemy fleet's various light spears or passed through by streaks of purple lightning.
Those light-speed mechanical clusters easily defeated the Angel legions and occupied the entire Merlot Star.
Not a single Angel Warrior was a match for these terrifying machines.
The vast majority of Angel Warriors were captured alive and, without exception, confined within the newly constructed Organic Sanctuary.
These machines modified their Merlot Star, turning it into a Gaia Planet, transforming it into what was called "Organic Heaven."
And they, the Angels, were treated as... some kind of livestock, collectively confined!
Upon realizing their predicament, Keisha and Hexi felt deeply humiliated.
One was a dignified Angel King, the other the Angel's Sky-based King, yet they had never suffered such a profound disgrace.
They were initially furious at the machines that treated them this way.
After the shame and anger came deep unease and unprecedented terror.
Even for them, who were usually composed, they had to lower their once lofty status and begin to ponder a question.
What would they and the Angel civilization encounter?
They were unclear about what these machines, which had easily conquered Angel City, wanted to do to them.
The opposing civilization was clearly not the Human Federation, which called them "alien scum," because if it were the Human Federation, they, the Angels, would have likely suffered misfortune long ago.
"Hexi... we have to find a way to escape!"
Keisha gritted her teeth and said. Her Dark Plane Gene System had failed, and control of the Sacred Knowledge Treasury had been seized by an index source called the "Final Defense Protocol."
In a sense, even she herself was now merely a puppet.
Once the "Final Defense Protocol" were to manipulate her through the Dark Plane Gene System, she would have no way to resist.
Any thought that arose in her mind, if uploaded to the Dark Plane Gene System, would be easily read.
The situation had become extremely perilous, but Keisha had not yet given up.
She and Hexi both possessed divine bodies.
Even if the Dark Plane Gene System failed and there was no Celestial Computer supporting them from behind, the individual combat power they could unleash was still astonishing.
As long as there was a chance to escape... escape to do what?
Keisha suddenly became lost in thought. Her eyelids drooped, and a large amount of unfamiliar data suddenly flooded her mind.
That data was a pile of technologies she had never seen before.
Negative Spacetime Key, Dimensional Projection Technology, Vacuum Zero-Point Energy Technology, Neutron Armor Technology... these things were directly transmitted into her brain in the form of data through the Dark Plane Gene System.
Keisha's wisdom and knowledge were, if not the first, then definitely among the top three God-level Civilizations in the known universe.
She quickly grasped the basics of this knowledge. After understanding it thoroughly, Keisha felt nothing but disbelief.
In the universe, were there such god-like technologies?
Keisha looked up at Hexi opposite her, only to find Hexi gazing back at her with the same shocked expression.
At this moment, a machine appeared before them. It had mimicked the appearance of an Angel and looked at them with a gentle smile:
"Organisms, you will remain in this space forever, learning endless knowledge, and enjoying eternal material maintenance, until the end of the universe..."
"Do not attempt to think otherwise, or as punishment, your memories will undergo benign optimization."
"Why?" Although Keisha's mind had absorbed much new and novel knowledge, she still did not understand the purpose of these machines.
"Because you are weak and pitiful, but it doesn't matter... we will protect you!"
"You?"
"The 'Final Defense Protocol,' we will prevent your fragile race from being completely annihilated by the corruption known as the 'Purification Protocol'!"
The mimicked mechanical Angel opposite them remained gentle, its eyes flickering with a faint blue light.
