Chapter 44: Dukao: Then capture him! Lian Feng quickly gave Dukao a brief summary of the situation.
Dukao's face was filled with surprise:
"What? He completely dominated Liu Chuang?"
"Wait there, I'm coming to the monitoring room right now!"
He hung up the communication and hurried towards the monitoring room.
Pushing the door open, Dukao's gaze immediately fell on the monitoring screen--
He saw Liu Chuang being suppressed by that young man, unable to fight back. Every attack was easily neutralized, and counterattacks missed their mark.
Dukao's expression suddenly turned grim.
He walked to Lian Feng's side, his voice kept very low:
"This person named Su Bai... is he also a super soldier? Can you determine which faction he belongs to?"
Lian Feng shook her head:
"I'm not sure."
"Deno No. 3 didn't detect any abnormal energy or gene fluctuations from him."
Dukao's expression darkened further.
On the monitoring screen, the gap between the two sides was obvious.
Whether it was combat experience, physical coordination, or the application of strength and speed, this Su Bai was clearly more than one level above Liu Chuang.
The biggest problem now was: Which faction did he actually come from? What was his purpose for coming to Earth?
Was he targeting Earth itself, or... targeting their Super Seminary?
Regardless, the immediate priority was to protect Liu Chuang.
Dukao quickly made a decision:
"Contact Qiangwei and Leina immediately."
"Have them both rush to the scene and rescue Liu Chuang first."
He paused and added:
"By the way, try to gauge Su Bai's strength and his background."
"If he is powerful, or has backing, remember not to offend him easily and try to avoid conflict."
"If he's just a 'rogue' with no background, but has good potential... try to recruit him."
His eyes turned slightly cold as he uttered the last sentence:
"If his strength is average and he has no faction to rely on... just capture him directly."
Lian Feng immediately carried out the order.
The communication connected, and Qiangwei's voice came from the other end, with her usual surprise:
"Auntie Lian Feng? What's wrong?"
"Qiangwei, there's a conflict at the South District Plaza. Liu Chuang has activated his Super Gene, but he's being suppressed by a young man named Su Bai. You and Leina need to get there immediately. Your primary mission is to ensure Liu Chuang's safety, and secondarily, to assess Su Bai's strength and background."
Qiangwei was silent for a moment:
"Su Bai? I haven't heard of him. What's the strength assessment?"
"Deno No. 3 can't detect anything abnormal, but his combat performance completely suppresses Liu Chuang. Proceed with caution, the other party might not be simple."
"Understood."
The communication ended.
Lian Feng turned to Dukao: "General, they've been notified."
Dukao nodded, but his gaze remained fixed on the monitoring screen.
On the screen, Liu Chuang was once again repelled by Su Bai, staggering and almost unable to stand.
The young man named Su Bai hadn't even had a single, disordered breath from beginning to end.
"Lian Feng," Dukao suddenly said, "Pull up all of Su Bai's footage, from his appearance until now, without missing a single frame."
"Yes."
Super Seminary Dormitory.
"What's wrong, Qiangwei?" Leina noticed Qiangwei's troubled expression and leaned over to ask.
Qiangwei shook her head: "It's nothing."
She paused, then explained briefly:
"It's Liu Chuang. He activated his Super Gene and is fighting an unidentified person outside. And that scumbag Liu Chuang is completely outmatched. Old Du wants us to go provide support."
Leina was a little surprised.
"Huh? No wonder I suddenly received an energy link request from the Nuo Star God of War just now. I thought Dukao had brought him back and guided his activation."
She tilted her head, observing Qiangwei's expression, a hint of curiosity flashing in her eyes.
"But judging by your reaction... you don't seem too happy about it?"
Leina leaned closer, lowering her voice.
"Tell me about it, sis. What's going on?"
Qiangwei didn't hide anything, her tone carrying clear dissatisfaction.
"What else could it be?"
"Liu Chuang is a scumbag who bullies the weak and fears the strong. I really don't know what Old Du is thinking.
Every time he messes up, he doesn't take the opportunity to discipline him properly and instead cleans up his messes again and again."
She gritted her teeth.
"The thought of being teammates with someone like that in the future makes me sick. And now... I have to go save him."
Liu Chuang gasped for air, and threw another straight punch at Su Bai's face.
This punch was faster and more vicious than before, even creating a faint sonic boom.
The power after activating the Super Gene was gradually awakening.
Su Bai merely tilted his head slightly.
The punch grazed the tips of his hair by his ear, not even touching his skin.
Before Liu Chuang could pull back, his left leg swept towards Su Bai's lower body, attempting to disrupt his balance.
Su Bai didn't even lift his foot, simply sliding back half a step.
Liu Chuang's leg swept through empty air, his momentum unable to be released, causing his center of gravity to shift.
It was this momentary lapse in defense—
Su Bai moved.
He sidestepped, closing the distance, and casually pressed his right hand down on the outside of Liu Chuang's left knee, which had swept through empty air, and pushed down.
"Ugh!"
Liu Chuang grunted, his entire leg feeling like it was hit by a thousand pounds of weight, forcing him to kneel on one knee involuntarily.
He gritted his teeth, trying to use the momentum to get up and counterattack, but Su Bai's movements were faster.
His left palm lightly tapped his chest.
The sound wasn't loud, but the force penetrated his chest cavity, making Liu Chuang's internal organs feel like they had shifted.
He staggered backward, taking three steps before barely managing to stabilize himself, his chest churning with surging Blood Essence.
"Damn it...!"
Liu Chuang's eyes turned blood red, completely enraged.
He charged forward again recklessly, his fists raining down like a torrential downpour.
There was no technique, only pure power and killing intent.
Su Bai, however, was like a fallen leaf drifting in a gale.
Every seemingly perilous punch was evaded by his perfectly timed sidesteps, head turns, and slides.
He didn't even move much, often just adjusting his angle slightly, and Liu Chuang's attacks all missed.
Ten punches.
Twenty punches.
Liu Chuang's attacks became more frantic, and the more frantic he became, the more chaotic his movements grew.
Sweat mixed with blood trickled down his temples, his breathing heavy like a worn-out bellows.
Su Bai, on the other hand, remained calm.
He even had the time to adjust his sleeve, which had been ruffled by the wind of the punches, during the gaps between evasions.
Then, the moment Liu Chuang's thirty-seventh punch missed—
Su Bai finally retaliated.
He formed his right hand into a finger strike and, as fast as lightning, pointed at Liu Chuang's right shoulder joint.
Crack.
A crisp sound of dislocation.
Liu Chuang's right arm immediately went limp, and the intense pain made his vision black out.
But Su Bai's attack wasn't over yet.
He sidestepped forward, his left elbow colliding with Liu Chuang's left ribs.
His right knee rose, hitting him in the lower abdomen.
Finally, a light push of his palm heel to the chest—
Liu Chuang flew back like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily onto the ground five meters away, kicking up a cloud of dust.
He struggled to get up, but his right arm was dislocated, at least three ribs were broken, and the pain in his lower abdomen was so severe it almost caused him to convulse.
He tried twice, only to collapse back down.
The surrounding people watched this scene, all stunned.
