That night, at the Akatsuki Organization's base.

Kanzō, led by an Akatsuki Organization member, met Yahiko's Trio.

"Hello, I'm Kanzō, Lord Hanzō's deputy!"

Kanzō nodded at Yahiko's Trio and introduced himself.

"Hello, I'm Yahiko. These are Nagato and Konan." Yahiko responded with a smile, then asked, "May I ask why Your Excellency Kanzō has come?"

Kanzō put on a formal smile. "I have come under Lord Hanzō's orders to invite the three of you to the ceasefire Peace Talks between Konoha and Iwagakure!"

Yahiko's eyes lit up at those words, and joy filled his heart.

But before that joy could fully show on his face, he noticed Kanzō discreetly giving him a look.

Yahiko's heart stirred, but his expression remained unchanged as he said happily, "That's wonderful! Let's go inside and discuss this in detail!"

Yahiko dismissed the Akatsuki Organization member who had led the way and personally brought Kanzō into the room.

After closing the door, Yahiko gave Nagato a look.

Nagato understood. He brought his hands together and gave a light clap.

"Barrier: Heavenly Canopy Formation!"

An invisible Sensory Barrier spread outward from Nagato, enveloping the entire room.

Because he possessed all seven attributes, Nagato had learned more techniques from Jiraiya than either of the other two.

Yahiko nodded before turning to Kanzō. "Senior Kanzō, you can say anything inconvenient now. Jin... what exactly does Lord Hanzō want from us?"

Yahiko accepted the letter Kanzō handed over and asked, "What did Lord Hanzō say?"
