After reuniting with the Shrek Seven Devils, he returned to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and prepared to repel an attack while founding the Heavenly Court.

• Ye Xingchen played music at Moonlight Pavilion, began secret relationships with Tang Yuehua and Xue Ke, and rejected Qian Renxue after she revealed her identity.
• Tang San arrived at Moonlight Pavilion, where Ye Xingchen defeated him, had him imprisoned, and later allowed Tang Yuehua to free him.
• Ye Xingchen joined Spirit Hall’s search for Xiao Wu, defeated Chrysanthemum Douluo, and traveled into the Star Dou Great Forest as the Clear Sky Sect hunted for a hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring.
• Xiao Wu fought the Clear Sky Sect’s forces, and Ye Xingchen arrived to kill her attackers and drive back the Second Elder and Blazing Sun Douluo.
• Ye Xingchen reunited with Xiao Wu and then returned with her to Shrek Academy, where he met Dai Mubai, Oscar, Ma Hongjun, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing.
• Tang Hao ordered an attack on the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, and Ye Xingchen warned Ning Fengzhi before proposing the Heavenly Court with the sect as its headquarters.

Ye Xingchen’s Heavenly Court helped Qian Renxue defeat Xue Beng and the Clear Sky Sect’s coup, leaving Qian Renxue emperor and Tang San heading to Sea God Island to grow stronger. Ye Xingchen then traveled toward Vast Sea City, where his party saved villagers from werewolves while Tang San struggled to earn passage onward.

• Ye Xingchen established the Heavenly Court, gathered the Four Elemental Academies and Four Great Clans, and welcomed Hu Liena and other powerful allies.
• Tang San and Yu Xiaogang pressured Tang Yuehua to help their plans, while Ye Xingchen took her to the Heavenly Court and later comforted her.
• Xue Beng and the Clear Sky Sect attempted to seize the Heaven Dou throne, but Qian Renxue and Ye Xingchen’s allies confronted them in the palace.
• Tang Hao’s phantom and the Second Elder’s formation threatened Ye Xingchen’s side until Bibi Dong arrived and dispersed the phantom, forcing Tang San and the Clear Sky Sect to retreat.
• The Snow Emperor died and Qian Renxue became emperor, and Bibi Dong ordered her to oppose the Clear Sky Sect and support the Heavenly Court.

Ye Xingchen defeated Tang San, survived the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, and led his companions to Sea God Island. There he claimed the Sea God inheritance, while Tang San arrived and Bo Saixi intervened to protect him.

• Tang San lost to Ye Xingchen in the Soul Fighting Arena, and Ye Xingchen’s group set out for Sea God Island.
• Ye Xingchen’s group exposed the pirate captain’s ambush, then Ye Xingchen deliberately faced the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King and was swallowed.
• Ye Xingchen survived inside the whale king, taught it the basic Heaven Shading Method, and later reunited with his companions on Zi Zhenzhu’s island.
• Zi Zhenzhu gave Ye Xingchen the Azure Dragon, and he led his companions underwater toward Sea God Island as Tang San followed by another route.
• Tang San provoked the surrounding Soul Beasts, but Ye Xingchen traced the disturbance to him and sent the beasts after him.
• Ye Xingchen defeated Sea Horse Douluo, revealed the Sea God’s aura, and was welcomed as the Sea God’s successor while Bo Saixi watched him.
• Bo Saixi rescued Tang San from the island’s disciples after learning he was Tang Chen’s great-grandson and allowed him to take the trial.
• Ye Xingchen confronted Tang San, fought off Bo Saixi, and secured her agreement not to attack him, while promising not to kill Tang San unless provoked.

Ye Xingchen conquered the Sea God’s trials, gathered Bo Saixi and Ou Ya, and moved Sea God Island toward the continent while Tang San accepted the Sea God’s power. As Tang San attacked the Heavenly Court, Qian Renxue and Qian Daoliu confronted him, leaving the conflict on the brink of a larger battle.

• Ye Xingchen’s companions began the Sea God trials, and his power caused the Sea God’s phantom to appear as Tang San accused him of cheating.
• Ye Xingchen trained his companions under the Sea God’s Light, gained power from the Sea God and Ou Ya, and took Bai Xiuxiu as his disciple.
• Ye Xingchen’s companions completed their trials and training, while Tang San struggled and was repeatedly battered during the challenges.
• Ye Xingchen defeated Sea Dragon Douluo and fought Bo Saixi, then showed her the Sea God trapped in the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud and persuaded her to follow him.
• Tang San accepted the Sea God’s inheritance, while Ye Xingchen ended the group’s training, took control of Sea God Island, and lifted it toward the continent.
• Qian Renxue completed the Angel God’s Nine Trials and clashed with Bibi Dong, who had joined the Heavenly Court, before Qian Daoliu warned them of the Clear Sky Sect’s attack.
• Tang San led the Clear Sky Sect’s assault on the Heavenly Court, but Bibi Dong and Qian Renxue intervened, and Tang San overwhelmed Qian Renxue with the Sea God’s power.
• Qian Daoliu appeared before the Clear Sky Sect as Sea God Island approached the Heaven Dou Empire, and Tang San demanded that Qian Daoliu and his allies surrender or die.
