Hyuga Makoto revealed himself as Otsutsuki Momoshiki and attacked Nagato’s Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, which Nagato had summoned to draw him out. Momoshiki overwhelmed the statue with crushing force and a golden sword, leaving Nagato and Konan trapped as he announced his name.

• Black Zetsu learned from White Zetsu that Nagato had used White Zetsu’s body to restore himself and had summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path after Hyuga Makoto pushed him to fight.
• The Demonic Statue of the Outer Path appeared at Otogakure, alarming the shinobi and Akatsuki members as a powerful presence descended from the sky.

• Nagato explained that he had summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path to provoke the Nucleus Organization and draw out the Person from the Heavens, while the Akatsuki survivors questioned why Otsutsuki Momoshiki had damaged the statue instead of taking it.
