When they reached the entrance to Kyogoku House, Dan Lei got out of the carriage and gave the others their instructions.

"Obanai, use your snake to look for underground tunnels around Kyogoku House. This demon has eaten so many people, yet no one's found their remains. They must be buried somewhere underground.

"Once you find a tunnel, Tengen, take Tanjiro and the other two and raid the demon's hideout. If your wives are still alive, they'll be there.

"Finally, half an hour after I go inside, Shinobu, follow the plan we agreed on. Go with Giyu and pretend to be my fiancée, bring some guards, catch me in the act, and make a scene at Kyogoku House. Get all the civilians out of the building.

"I'll try to wait an hour before starting the fight. You two will have to find a way to evacuate the civilians."

Dan Lei had shown remarkable intelligence while tracking down the demon, and he was also the strongest person present. So everyone was willing to follow his lead.

Dan Lei could only nod before striding into Kyogoku House.

The moment he entered, his fine-looking clothes caught the madam's attention. She hurried over with a beaming smile.

"Young master, is this your first time at Kyogoku House? Come along, I'll show you our girls."

Dan Lei acted just like a seasoned patron. He took out two polished jade balls and rolled them in his hand as he spoke.

"It is. But if I'm not satisfied with your girls, I promise the whole Entertainment District will hear by tomorrow that the women at Kyogoku House are all trash."

Dan Lei had already used Suggestion magic, making the madam see him as a powerful man she absolutely couldn't afford to offend.

The madam hurried to reassure him.

Fortunately, Daki was a professional in her own way. Once she learned that Dan Lei was an important guest, she didn't throw a fit or refuse to see him.

So Dan Lei soon found himself face-to-face with Daki, a demon renowned for her beauty even when she was human.
