• Yan Lin revealed his Golden Finger and copied Queen Medusa’s Seven-Colored Sky-Swallowing Python bloodline before the Awakening Ceremony.
• At the ceremony, Yan Lin fused with the bloodline, broke through to Dou Master, and unleashed pressure that forced ordinary Snake People to their knees.
• The Great Elder and Queen Medusa made Yan Lin Saint King and announced his marriage to Medusa after he accepted her five-year condition to reach Dou Wang.

Yan Lin left the Snake People Clan, defeated Hai Bodong and bargained for his service, then found the Green Lotus Core Flame and secured Xiao Yi Xian as his disciple. The arc left Yan Lin preparing to pursue the Purple Crystal Companion Source in the Monster Mountain Range.

• Yan Lin killed Qi Yunxiao, then joined Hua She'er in driving off the two Poison Master Dou Wangs and took Qi Yunxiao’s possessions, including the Heavenly Flame Map and Myriad Soul Banner.
• Yan Lin obtained two Humanoid Pills from Qi Yunxiao’s belongings, transformed into human form, and persuaded Queen Medusa to let him leave the Tagor Desert alone.
• Yan Lin fought Hai Bodong over the Fragmented Map, defeated him, and negotiated a year of service in exchange for beginning to undo his Snake Seal Curse.
• Yan Lin killed Zhang Xiaofan, copied his Dry Blue Ice Flame, and persuaded Hai Bodong to search the desert for the Green Lotus Core Flame.

He stole treasures from the Purple Crystal Winged Lion King's cave, rescued Yun Yun, and left the cave with her after killing an Earth Demon Centipede.

• Yan Lin defeated Xiao Yan in a fight and traded the Blood Lotus Essence and Restoration Pills for Xiao Yan's Eight Extremes Collapse technique.
• Yan Lin and Xiao Yi Xian found the Poison Master's Ruins, where she obtained the Seven-Colored Poison Scripture and learned the Purple Cloud Wings technique.
• Yan Lin copied Xiao Yi Xian's Tribulation Poison Body and began cultivating with poisons while asking Hai Bodong to gather rare materials.

Yan Lin broke through to Dou Wang, gathered allies and treasures, and brought Xiao Yi Xian to the Snake People Clan while confronting Bai Ya and growing closer to Medusa. The arc left Yan Lin stronger after refining the Green Lotus Core Flame, while Medusa pursued a bloodline transformation and Qing Lin’s future with the Heavenly Snake Mansion remained to be addressed.

• Yan Lin returned to Xiao Yi Xian after reaching Dou Wang, gained Purple Fire, and tested his new strength against Hai Bodong.
• Yan Lin and Hai Bodong ambushed Gute, stole his treasures and Ice Spirit Cold Spring, and failed to find a Naling.
• Yan Lin brought Xiao Yi Xian to the Snake People Clan, introduced her to Medusa, and assured her that he would not abandon her.
