Looking at his own somewhat foolish expression as he lay in the virtual pod, his feelings became rather complicated.

Morro took it in stride. "Do we really look that stupid?"

"Of course not. You don't actually look that stupid right now." Harry shrugged. "It's just been exaggerated a little."

As soon as he finished speaking, Harry showed them what they really looked like. They had no expressions at all, aside from slightly pale faces.

Harry gave a simple explanation. "Brain-computer interface technology. Virtual world technology can affect all five senses. Of course, it's controlled, not a one-hundred-percent simulation."

It sounded simple, but the technology in this virtual pod was far beyond Oasis.

"I want you two to run this world," Harry said bluntly.

"But... what makes this any different?" Halliday hesitated. "Wouldn't your system make it even easier for people to become addicted?"

Harry thought about it and decided that seeing was believing.

With a wave of his hand, the surrounding scene became an open space. Steel rebars rose one after another at his command.

"For example, the Framework system is built on existing physical laws. In other words, at least on a macroscopic level, it connects with reality in many ways."
