I Changed My Mind

"Who the hell are you?" After being beaten senseless by Lu Yifang twice, even Abomination's simple mind—stuffed full of Hulk—should have been knocked open by Lu Yifang by now.

"Me?" Lu Yifang pointed at himself and suddenly smiled. "You could call me an Absolute Ability User."

"I don't give a damn what kind of ability user you are! I just want to punch you into pieces." Taking advantage of the conversation to catch his breath, Abomination suddenly sprang up and swung a punch at Lu Yifang's head.

"Bam!" The next moment, Abomination was already flying through the air.

Abomination's sneak attack had bounced right back off Lu Yifang's body on its own. Abomination and Hulk were both among the strongest physical fighters in the Marvel Universe, but unfortunately for him, Abomination had run into Lu Yifang.

And Vector Manipulation made handling sheer force incredibly easy. Even if Lu Yifang didn't fight back at all, simply activating Vector Reflection was enough to make him invincible.

"Crack!"

A crisp sound rang out. Seeing a crack appear in his mask, Lu Yifang shook his head, then glanced at Hulk beside him and the shorts that had somehow survived all that fighting without getting shredded. He couldn't help asking, "Where did you buy those shorts? Could you recommend them to me sometime?"

"Rat-a-tat-tat!" The sound of a machine gun firing wildly interrupted Lu Yifang's question.

Ross's Armed Helicopter flew over just then, firing furiously at Abomination. With Hulk and Lu Yifang, it had him caught in a pincer attack. This fight looked like a sure win.

"Ross!" Abomination, stung by the bullets, was completely enraged.

Damn it, I can accept getting beaten up by Hulk and that weird cheat whose powers I can't even understand. But what the hell is a cowardly "screw" like you doing joining in, hiding inside a helicopter and not even daring to come out?

Fury rising in his heart, Abomination turned and lifted a car, then hurled it into the air.

Compared to a fighter jet, an Armed Helicopter was far less maneuverable. The pilot began turning as soon as he saw Abomination grab the car, but the car still struck the tail rotor, sending the helicopter wobbling toward the ground.

Seeing this, Hulk's expression changed. He bolted toward the helicopter's crash site. It wouldn't matter if Ross, that father-in-law who'd thrown his own daughter under the bus, died, but his wife was still on board!

"Hulk, don't even think about getting away!" Perhaps because Abomination had been created using Hulk's power, he was deeply obsessed with Hulk. Now, seeing Hulk run off, the hatred Lu Yifang had drawn away from him instantly shifted back.

If he couldn't fight Hulk in their fated rivalry, what was the point of Abomination even being alive?

But before Abomination could take more than two steps, he suddenly felt an immense force seize his foot. His body jerked to a stop, and he slammed into the ground with a thud, sprawled out like a starfish.

"Who said you could leave?" Lu Yifang pursed his lips. He was pretty annoyed too. They'd had a great three-on-one fight going, so how had it turned into a one-on-one in the blink of an eye? But since he was already here, he wasn't about to let Abomination slip away right under his nose.

"That's enough!" Abomination lifted his head and saw that Hulk was already gone. He roared at Lu Yifang, his heart filled not only with boundless fury, but also with a little lingering grievance.

Damn it, to get stronger, I gave up not just my fine head of hair and handsome looks. Most importantly, I even gave up my little brother down there! After sacrificing so much to master my ultimate technique, wasn't I supposed to come out of seclusion and punch Ross and stomp Hulk into the ground?

Why was reality so different from the script?

"I am the Destroyer, the very nightmare of Hulk! I am powerful, invincible! I am Abomination!" Abomination roared at Lu Yifang.

"And what are you supposed to be? A puny human, scrawny as a monkey! You insect, don't you dare humiliate me—" BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Before Abomination could finish, Lu Yifang grabbed him by the heel and swung him down into the ground again and again. Once he was sure Abomination had been knocked senseless, Lu Yifang, still fuming, gave him a few more slams before finally stopping.

Planting a foot on Abomination's chest, Lu Yifang spat and looked down contemptuously at him. Abomination lay there completely dazed, his hands helplessly held up in front of his chest. Lu Yifang sneered, "Pathetic!"

"What should I do with you now?" Having vented some of his anger, Lu Yifang felt better and began considering what to do with Abomination.

As for Abomination, who was struggling desperately beneath his foot, Lu Yifang ignored him. He used Vector Manipulation to turn the force Abomination used to push himself up into downward force. The harder Abomination tried to stand, the deeper he sank into the ground, unable to get up.

"Maybe I should hand you over to S.H.I.E.L.D.," Lu Yifang mused.

General Ross had made such a huge mess that he'd surely have his hands full. Besides, Lu Yifang didn't like General Ross much. As for Professor X, he definitely wouldn't be interested in this big lug, and Lu Yifang didn't want to cause Professor X any trouble.

S.H.I.E.L.D., on the other hand, would certainly be interested. Handing Abomination over in the X-Men's name would be a pretty substantial favor. Whether Nick Fury wanted to tie a nuclear bomb to the guy and blow him up, lock him in an Adamantium cage and dump him into the Mariana Trench, or come up with a good way to dissect him was none of Lu Yifang's concern.

"Yifang, Kitty's hurt." Director Emma's anxious voice rang out just as Lu Yifang thought he had everything under control.

"What happened?" Lu Yifang turned at the sound of her voice. His pupils instantly contracted. He saw a young woman lying in Director Emma's arms, with a rusty piece of scrap metal stuck in her abdomen. Her body was already completely stained with blood.

The instant Lu Yifang lost focus, Abomination struggled even harder.

"You can't keep me trapped! Ross can't hold me, and neither can S.H.I.E.L.D.! Hand me over to them if you want—it won't matter. I'll escape, then kill you and Hulk!" Abomination snarled.

"Even better." As Lu Yifang spoke, he turned around. Abomination noticed that the young man's eyes had changed. The earlier teasing and playfulness had given way to a cold, concentrated killing intent.

"Because as it happens..." Lu Yifang's voice was icy. "I've changed my mind." He lifted his toe slightly, then brought it down on Abomination again.

BOOM! The ground shook violently. In that instant, it collapsed more than a meter, and countless cracks spread outward from Abomination. Lu Yifang's stomp had formed a crater over ten meters wide.
