"Professor, your wheelchair." Storm pushed Professor X's wheelchair over.

When Lu Yifang pushed the wheelchair into the Cerebro room, Jean was already lying on the ground in pain, with Cyclops and Logan, two big men, standing around her, one in front and one behind.

"Child, are you alright?" Professor X came up to Jean.

As he reached out his hand, he suddenly saw a flash of red light in Jean's eyes. Professor X's expression immediately stiffened.

"Professor, I'm fine. I'm so glad you woke up." Jean said, holding her head.

"I've found their location. Magneto has taken Rogue to Liberty Island. He's already started implementing his plan."

"Professor, are you listening?" Seeing the professor seem distracted, Jean called out again.

"Mm, I understand." Called back by Jean, the professor snapped out of it. He gave Jean a deep look before turning his gaze to the others.

"Now it's time for us to act."

Ten minutes later, everyone was gathered around a table in the main hall. The high-tech table was rapidly constructing a 3D image.

As the leader of the X-Men, Cyclops manipulated the instruments on the table and addressed the group.

"Let's organize the intelligence we've gathered. Magneto used his ability to invent a device. When exposed to this device's radiation, ordinary people can be transformed into Mutants. To retaliate against Senator Kelly and his supporters' Mutant Registration Act, he plans to use this device on Liberty Island.

Because the device may have some flaws—the user could die from excessive energy consumption—Magneto intends to use Rogue's ability. He'll have Rogue absorb his power, gain his ability, and then let Rogue die in his place."

"Why choose Liberty Island?" Logan asked curiously.

"Because across from Liberty Island is Manhattan Island. I don't know if you've seen the news, but world leaders are holding a summit there. Magneto's target is clearly these people." Jean pulled up images of Manhattan Island and various buildings in New York.

"We're Mutants. If there's a device that can turn everyone in the world into Mutants, isn't that a good thing for us?" Lu Yifang said, forcing himself to continue.

"Child, that's true in theory." Professor X patted Lu Yifang's arm.

"But this device my old friend invented has a huge flaw. Although it can turn ordinary people into Mutants, they will die soon after. If Magneto forcefully uses this device, it will ultimately kill everyone in New York."

"I see." Lu Yifang patted his head. Although he had watched the X-Men movies, it had been eighteen years since his previous life, and many plot details were a bit fuzzy.
