Why was Danzo so certain Orochimaru was responsible?
If someone had stolen the First Hokage's tomb, Danzo might have thought the culprit wanted Wood Style.
Because of the Hashirama Cell's powerful vitality, Hashirama's body hadn't decayed even decades after his death. If they dug it up, they might even find a Soul Bone.
But if Tobirama and the village's Elite Ninja were included, too—
—then this wasn't just grave robbing. Someone wanted to bring Leaf Village's strongest shinobi back with Impure World Reincarnation and send them into battle.
Why did that someone have to be Orochimaru? Couldn't it have been someone else? The Third Hokage, or Evil Uchiha?
Why was Danzo convinced Orochimaru was behind it?
Because Impure World Reincarnation was a Forbidden Technique. It wasn't something just anyone could learn.
Danzo didn't know Impure World Reincarnation, either. He'd come here simply to see Senju Tobirama's tomb.
He hoped Tobirama's spirit would bless him and help him learn Impure World Reincarnation.
In Leaf Village, Orochimaru was the only one with that kind of talent.
Besides, Impure World Reincarnation was sealed away in the Scroll of Seals, which was kept by the Hokage. Not just anyone could get the chance to access it.
Only a shinobi as skilled at sneaking around as Orochimaru could steal a Leaf Forbidden Jutsu.
Most importantly, Danzo knew Orochimaru well enough to understand that only someone like him—with no moral limits and no regard for ethics—would dare to violate the tomb of a Previous Hokage.
Danzo stood up and said to Ryoma, "Gu, find a way to track down Orochimaru."
"Yes!"
Amegakure.
Liao Wu and Candy emerged from Madara's Underground Base and gathered Amegakure's Jonin for a meeting.
Amegakure had no Jonin. Nagato had killed them all.
The Jonin here were mainly the Ninja Cats
