Amegakure Village Entrance.
Jiraiya's towering figure cast a shadow over part of the village entrance, where a Ninja Cat lay sprawled across a table, snoring away.
Beneath it was a Personnel Record Book for people entering and leaving the village. It seemed to be the Ninja Cat assigned to watch the gates of Rain Village.
Jiraiya noticed a Nameplate on the cat that read "Jonin."
He was speechless. Even a Ninja Cat had become a Jonin?
Did that mean the thousand or so cats in Rain Village were all Jonin?
Jiraiya looked at the distinctive Fan Symbol by the village entrance. It was the Uchiha Clan's crest.
Placing the Uchiha Clan's Fan Clan Crest in such a conspicuous spot showed that Amegakure had become Uchiha territory. The Land of Rain's military base now belonged to Uchiha Ryobu.
Jiraiya passed the Ninja Cat at the entrance, but suddenly, a flash of yellow appeared beside him.
Without turning around, Jiraiya said, "Minato, go back! No matter what, I'm going to storm Amegakure!"
Minato didn't try to talk him out of it. "Teacher, I know I can't change your mind. But how could a disciple watch his teacher walk into danger?"
Minato touched Jiraiya's shoulder, leaving the Flying Thunder God Exclusive Mark on it.
"Teacher, this is my Flying Thunder God Mark. If your life is ever in danger, I'll get you out of Amegakure immediately."
With that, Minato vanished without waiting for Jiraiya to reply.
The Flying Thunder God Mark was extremely difficult to erase. It fell under the category of Sealing Technique, and in the Original Work, Obito had never been able to remove Minato's mark.
It was through the Flying Thunder God Mark on Obito that Minato learned his own student had been behind the Nine-Tails' release—and the deaths of
