Kakashi was leading Yamato and the others toward the Uchiha base.

Yamato stared gravely at the Akatsuki uniform Tobi wore. "That outfit... You're an Akatsuki member too!"
Kakashi scrutinized Tobi closely. Kabuto had previously given Liao Wu and Hinata intelligence on Akatsuki.
Hinata had passed that intelligence on to Kakashi, and Kakashi had studied Akatsuki's structure.
"This person wasn't recorded in the intelligence Kabuto left behind."
Tobi glanced at Liao Wu, observing him with great caution.
Among those present, only Kakashi's Mangekyo and Liao Wu's Flying Thunder God could threaten Obito.
Liao Wu also possessed the Uzumaki Clan's Sealing Technique, making him the greatest threat to Obito.
However, Obito, who possessed Kamui, was inherently undefeated.
Seeing how tense the atmosphere had become, Tobi said cheerfully, "I'm a newcomer. Please treat me well."
Tobi's cheerfulness irritated Kiba. Sitting atop Akamaru's back, he angrily pointed at him. "Hmph, quit fooling around. You look awfully relaxed!"
Liao Wu shouted, "Kiba, Akamaru, bite him!"
Kakashi stopped them. "Don't act rashly. This person isn't in Kabuto's intelligence. We don't know what abilities he has."

A ninja's battles were filled with feints and deception. When fighting an unfamiliar ninja, they had to first test the other side's abilities.
Otherwise, they would not even know how they died!
