In the end, Liao Wu abandoned the idea. He turned into a streak of lightning, shot out of the Great Toad Sage's temple, and left Mount Myōboku.
The only one on Mount Myōboku who posed any threat to Liao Wu was the Great Toad Sage, but that threat lay mainly in his prophetic dreams.
Before Liao Wu even prepared to do anything wicked, the Great Toad Sage would foresee it and take precautions.
The Great Toad Sage's foresight was beyond his control, so he had to die!
But none of the other toads on Mount Myōboku could threaten Liao Wu.
That included the Two Great Sages, Sage Fukasaku and Sage Shima, as well as Jiraiya.
They could not even handle a single clone of Liao Wu's, let alone Liao Wu himself, who had already reached the Six Paths Level!
The lightning Liao Wu had become flew out of Mount Myōboku. Many toads saw a giant cat made of lightning fly out of the Great Toad Sage's temple, then leave Mount Myōboku in an instant.
After the lightning cat left, Mount Myōboku returned to its former appearance, no longer the scene of devastation the lightning had brought.
Gama Bunta smoked his pipe, watching the streak of lightning leave Mount Myōboku with a grave expression.
Gama Kichi and Gama Ryu stood beside Gama Bunta.
Gama Kichi asked Gama Bunta worriedly, "Dad, that lightning wasn't a natural phenomenon, was it?"
Gama Bunta nodded. "It was some kind of creature. That was living lightning!"
