• Mikoto asked for a short blade to take responsibility for Itachi’s actions, but Yashiro, Inabi, and Tekka stopped her.
• Yashiro, Inabi, and Tekka told Mikoto that Root had replaced Uchiha Kagen and that the village had closely monitored the Uchiha’s plans.
• Yashiro and the others explained that the Third Hokage and Danzo had manipulated events, and that the coup would have failed even without Itachi.

After Fugaku's death, Yashiro and the Uchiha chose Mikoto as their Family Head, and the Flame Uchiha Gunbai appeared in her hands. Liao Wu and his companions then reached the Chunin Exams timeline, where Jifeng was discovered while spying on Baki and Kabuto.

Gekko Hayate confronted Baki and Kabuto after discovering their plans to attack the Leaf Village, but Baki overwhelmed him in battle. Just as Baki’s Wind Blade was about to strike Hayate, Yugao appeared and pushed him aside.

• Baki explained that the Sand Village planned to attack the Leaf Village to reclaim missions and resources, while Hayate argued that clients chose the Leaf Village voluntarily.
• Baki charged Hayate, who recognized Kabuto as an Otogakure spy and prepared to fight despite being outmatched.
• Hayate used Konoha Style: Dance of the Crescent Moon and wounded Baki’s shoulder, but his weakness prevented him from delivering a decisive blow.

Uzuki Yugao arrived at Kikyō Castle and saved Hayate by blocking Baki’s Wind Blade, then revealed that she came from the future. With Liao Wu’s support, she fought Baki and Kabuto, who began to suspect the Leaf Anbu had uncovered their plan.

• Uzuki Yugao appeared before Baki and Hayate, splitting Baki’s Wind Blade with her sword.
• Yugao told Hayate she was his girlfriend from the future and said she would explain after they dealt with Baki and Kabuto.
• Hayate began coughing from exhaustion, so Yugao told him to rest and charged the two enemies alone.
• Yugao identified Kabuto as Orochimaru’s spy, prompting Kabuto and Baki to wonder whether the Anbu had discovered the Konoha Crush Plan.

Yugao used her healing and swordsmanship to overcome Kabuto’s Chakra Scalpel and kill Baki with Moon Curtain: Veiled Moonlit Night. As she rushed to help Jifeng pursue the fleeing Kabuto, he decided to capture Jifeng and use him to force Yugao to surrender.

• Kabuto injured Yugao’s wrist with his Chakra Scalpel, but Liao Wu’s Spore rapidly healed her hand.
• Baki attacked Yugao, who unveiled Moon Curtain: Veiled Moonlit Night and trapped him among her sword afterimages and Shadow Clones.
