He led Ying Ye and the others, along with the Pan Family Three Brothers, to search for Jackalmen hiding in the tents.
A tent flap was lifted, revealing three young Jackalmen huddled in a corner, staring fearfully at Ying Zhan in the doorway.
Ying Zhan showed no mercy just because they were young. He charged straight inside.
Screams rang out from the tent.
Hearing the young Jackalmen screaming inside, Lin Feng didn't think there was anything wrong with it.
That was how the struggle between races worked. If the roles were reversed, the Jackalmen wouldn't show any compassion for Human children, either.
He looked toward the battlefield in the distance. Wind Wolf stood at its edge, watching the players surround Kuáng Tú with a complicated expression.

Before attacking the Jackalmen Tribe, he had asked Wind Wolf whether he still had any family in the tribe.

After all, Wind Wolf was a Jackalman, not a Human.
Lin Feng had assumed that while they were busy attacking the Jackalmen Tribe, they wouldn't be able to keep an eye on Wind Wolf, and he would seize the chance to escape or even turn against them.
Instead, Wind Wolf had remained here quietly, without making a move.
"Run? Where would I go?"
Wind Wolf shook his head with a bitter smile.
With the Jackalmen Tribe wiped out, even if he escaped, he would only end up wandering from place to place.
He might as well stay with the Starry Tribe. At least he would be safe and wouldn't have to roam around, never knowing if he'd survive the next day.

Besides quest experience, when players learned skills from an NPC, twenty percent of the experience they spent would also be awarded to that NPC.
That meant that through the quest and skill systems, NPCs would have a steady source of experience and could keep leveling up.
Every NPC could eventually become a peerless expert of the highest level!
In Lin Feng's view, the NPC System was the most helpful feature he had unlocked so far.
First, through the NPC System, he could earn a steady stream of experience and level up quickly. He wouldn't have to rely solely on system quest rewards to level up, like before.
