Background / History
Lin Feng arrived in the Savage World from across the sea and initially lived in the Baimu Tribe. Unable to tolerate Tribe Leader Baimu Sheng's exploitation of the people, he left; the Pan Family Three Brothers, his former neighbors, had taught him the local language and basic hunting skills. 6
In Gourd Valley, Lin Feng refused to seek shelter with the Baimu Tribe and instead resolved to develop an independent Human Race tribe. To explain the arrival of Players, he told the valley's children that the Human Emperor had sent immortal “Skyfallers” to help humanity rise. 3 He later acknowledged privately that he had no actual connection to the Human Emperor and used the name to establish the setting and authority surrounding the Skyfallers. 292
As the Starry Tribe expanded, Lin Feng designated the Inner Valley as a restricted area to protect the Skyfallers' secret, while organizing the Outer Valley into a residential district. He also selected native residents capable of teaching useful skills as NPCs, allowing both Players and NPCs to gain experience from skill instruction. 43 46
Following the conquest and integration of multiple races, Lin Feng formally established the Starry Kingdom in Qingqiu City. He appeared at the founding ceremony in black armor rather than ceremonial robes, declaring that the Kingdom still needed vigilance and the will to fight. 371
Lin Feng subsequently led the Kingdom beyond the Three Islands and the Barbaric Continent, liberated enslaved humans from the Shadow Spirit Kingdom, and began pursuing the restoration of the Cosmic Human Race across nearby star systems. 430 593 His later campaigns brought him into direct conflict with the Asura Race and eventually into high-dimensional space. 613 671
Appearance
Lin Feng is most often depicted in black armor, with stern features and a commanding presence befitting the ruler of the Starry Kingdom. 371
- Earlier wore dark black leather armor and carried a blood-colored battle axe. 76
- His black armor is a deliberate symbol of the Kingdom's ongoing struggle rather than a ceremonial outfit. 371
- Frequently projects an oppressive aura that causes weaker opponents to hesitate or submit. 83 147
Personality
Lin Feng is a pragmatic and highly adaptive leader. He builds housing before the population requires it, uses Players' enthusiasm to develop the tribe, and is willing to make temporary concessions—such as offering Purple Flame Grass to the Black Scale Clan—in pursuit of long-term strategic goals. 75 275
He is perceptive in negotiations and intolerant of insincere submission. Lin Feng repeatedly exposes deception by prospective NPCs, including Mang Feng, Wu Erkun, and Zhu Qiluo, while offering genuine defectors a place within his forces. 246 261 408
Although ruthless toward hostile forces such as the Shadow Spirit Kingdom, Lin Feng is compassionate toward oppressed humans. After liberating 50,000 Human Race slaves, he offered them citizenship, housing, land, food, or the freedom to leave. 430 431
Lin Feng enjoys combat against powerful opponents and is willing to test himself directly, as shown by his decision to use the Fire Elephant King as a measure of his Divine Might Realm strength. 412 He also has a playful streak, particularly when naming people and objects such as Ping Ping, Qiuqiu, and the Fallen Angel mech's nickname, “Little Black.” 430 545
Abilities & Skills
System Administration
Lin Feng possesses administrative authority over the system that supports the Starry Kingdom and its Players.
- Receives 20% of the experience spent whenever a Player learns a skill from him. 46
- Can issue quests, distribute rewards, create Player content, and establish systems such as Legions and Illusion Realms. 218 309
- Can appoint native lifeforms as NPCs, granting them system functions and absolute loyalty to himself and the Human Emperor. 197 408
- NPC appointment requires the target to be clearly informed of the loyalty condition and to agree sincerely; false consent causes the appointment to fail. 261 408
- Can construct Teleportation Arrays across vast distances after gaining sufficient authority. 644 658
Combat and Martial Arts
Lin Feng is a versatile combatant who combines overwhelming attributes with practical martial skill.
- Proficient in all four Player class styles rather than specializing in one, making him a “six-sided warrior” capable of melee, ranged, mobility, and defensive combat. 60
- Practiced Baji Quan from childhood and later studied Xing Yi Quan, Tai Chi Quan, and Bagua Zhang, integrating them into his own fighting style. 403
- Uses superior Constitution for rapid recovery and endurance, allowing him to sustain repeated exchanges that overwhelm opponents. 22
- Routinely adapts his tactics mid-fight, such as switching from melee combat to kiting with Magic Missile after his weapon was broken. 60
Early Skills
Lin Feng accumulated skills from Player instruction, Illusion Realm drops, and NPC appointments.
- Tiger Strike — Enhances a strike and can inflict bleeding on hit. 43
- Powerful Strike — Concentrates strength into a full-power attack with increased damage. 43
- Magic Missile — A ranged spell used to pressure or kite melee-focused enemies. 60
- Swift Step — Raises movement speed by 50%, allowing Lin Feng to create distance or evade attacks. 60
- Lion's Roar — A sound-wave attack capable of disrupting and stunning nearby enemies. It affects allies as well as enemies within range. 57 58
- Whirlwind Slash — An axe technique acquired from difficult-mode Kuáng Tú Bloodaxe. 132
- Flame Barrier — A defensive flame construct whose scale and power increase with Intelligence. 204
- Palm Thunder — A fast, instant-cast lightning attack that is more difficult to evade than Magic Missile. 206
Space-time Pupil
Lin Feng's primary talent evolved from the Time Pupil and Eye of Space into the Space-time Pupil upon entering the Divine Might Realm. 300 414
- Space-time Solidification — Slows or restrains enemies and even affects surrounding elemental forces; its effectiveness was sufficient to force the Fire Elephant King to retreat. 413 414
- Space-time Rewind — Rewinds a brief moment to exploit openings in an enemy's defense. 553
- Space Collapse — Compresses and collapses the space around a target; at Eighth Order, it can threaten even an opponent's Life Core. 625
- Allows Lin Feng to perceive and manipulate space far beyond ordinary spatial techniques, though he acknowledged Ximo's superior control and experience during their Eighth Order battle. 625 626
- Cannot fully solidify all space-time at his earlier Divine Might Realm level; the technique initially functioned as partial control rather than absolute immobilization. 414
Heavenly Human Realm Skills
Upon entering the Heavenly Human Realm, Lin Feng gained a skill from each Player class. 300
- Gang Qi — Condenses internal energy for offense and defense; can reinforce the body or be projected at higher realms. 300 380
- Wings of Wind — Forms wind wings for movement, gliding, and limited flight; sustained flight initially consumed excessive mental power. 300
- Instant Strike — A short-range burst movement and attack that consumes extreme stamina at maximum range. 300
- Golden Bell Shield — Forms a Gang Qi barrier around the user; its strength scales with Constitution. 300
Divine Might Realm Talents
- Flight — Lin Feng can fly freely after entering the Divine Might Realm. 380
- Gang Qi Projection — Projects condensed Gang Qi as ranged attacks, including a golden blade capable of tearing the ground apart. 380
- Limb Regeneration — Regrows lost limbs. 380
- Avatar — Creates independent incarnations; Lin Feng later deployed nine incarnations in battle against Jia Er. 380 667
Gods and Devils Body
The Gods and Devils Body allows Lin Feng to transform into different God and Devil forms with distinct powers. 525 526
- Can assume a Flame God and Devil form, greatly increasing his destructive presence. 526 527
- His physical strength after entering the Gods and Devils Realm vastly exceeded his Divine Might Realm self; even a drop of his blood held more energy than a Heavenly Human Realm expert. 525
- Can suppress his realm during sparring to test allies without overwhelming them immediately. 527
High-Order Techniques
- Death Law — A Ninth Order technique used to erase Herder and his attack with a single command. 641
- Life Core protection — As an Eighth Order expert, Lin Feng possesses a Life Core; so long as it remains intact, ordinary injuries such as destruction of the head or heart are not fatal. 588
- Strength Amplitude knowledge — Understands how exertion techniques multiply a warrior's usable combat strength and teaches such methods to subordinates. 612 613
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Blood-Colored Battle Axe — Obtained after clearing the Jackalmen Tribe Illusion Realm; Lin Feng's primary early weapon. 60
- Dark Black Leather Armor — System armor granting +1 Strength. 58
- Early system equipment set — Seven pieces supplied a combined +11 Strength, +5 Constitution, +5 Agility, and +7 Intelligence after his Transcendence Realm advancement. 130
- Laser Rifle — Carried during his exploration of Observation Point Six, though its specialized energy core could not be recharged there. 242
- Illusion Mech: Fallen Angel — A black, over-sixty-meter mech with an energy cannon and black longsword; stored as a tattoo on Lin Feng's left arm. 545
- Nine Supreme Treasures — Includes the Spear of Space-time, Chaos Realm Wheel, and Guixu Divine Seal; used together to attack Jia Er's Blood Palace. 667
Relationships
- Ying Zhan — Trusted Human Race subordinate and early NPC candidate; Lin Feng consults him on protecting the Inner Valley and later entrusts him with command responsibilities. 43 218
- Ying Yi — One of the original children in Gourd Valley; Lin Feng encourages him through fear and growth, eventually seeing him become a Divine Might Realm archer. 3 56 468
- Wind Wolf — Loyal Jackalman/Werewolf NPC appointed by Lin Feng; serves as a racial mentor, scout, and dependable subordinate. 53 75
- Ping Ping — Observation Point Six's AI assistant and Lin Feng's close administrative partner; carries out his orders, including restraining and electrocuting dangerous prisoners. 261 336
