Piccolo went on the offensive and charged at No. 17. In an instant, before No. 17 could react, Piccolo grabbed him by the head and prepared to slam him into the ground as if he were a piece of furniture.
But to his complete surprise, No. 17 used the momentum as he was being thrown. Just as he was about to hit the ground, he grabbed Piccolo's arm and threw him over his shoulder, smashing him hard into the ground.
Piccolo seized No. 17 by the collar and threw him down as well, slamming him hard into the ground. No. 17 took the opportunity to grab Piccolo's arm again, leaped into the air, swung him around several times, and flung him straight up into the sky.
The exchange was nearly flawless—a textbook hand-to-hand battle. Neither of them had the upper hand. Piccolo landed on the ground, and No. 17 flashed toward him and drove a powerful punch into his chest.
The attack hurt Piccolo. He used the force against No. 17 and punched him in the chest in return. Neither gave the other an inch, their blows coming close to punching through each other's chests.
They traded punches, each one slamming into the other's body. Then Piccolo kicked No. 17, and No. 17 kicked Piccolo right back. They both stumbled backward two steps.
They fought with burning intensity, relying entirely on brute force rather than technique. Then they leaped into the air. No. 17 kicked Piccolo in the face, but Piccolo reacted quickly and fired a Magic Light Wave at him.
It knocked No. 17 straight to the ground. Piccolo landed too, and both of them were badly worn out. No. 17's energy might have been infinite, but the beating Piccolo had given him was bound to leave him feeling
