Uchiha Chen's attitude had thoroughly enraged Senju Tobirama. So many people had died here; it was sure to cause an uproar in Konoha.

These weren't just one or two bandits or ordinary people who had died. They were elders from various clans, each of whom held power within their own clan. Even the clan heads held less authority than they did.

This was wartime, and Konoha really couldn't afford to lose their support. If they died, their clans' ninja would be left without leaders, inevitably having a huge impact on the ninja at the front lines. That impact would in turn result in a severe weakening of their combat power.

If their minds were no longer focused on battle, their combat power would be diminished without anyone noticing. That could lead to the collapse of one—or even every—front line. It was certainly not a sight Senju Tobirama wanted to see.

Especially now, with Sarutobi Hiruzen serving as the Third Hokage and active on the battlefield. When he returned and found that something so serious had happened in the village, Tobirama wouldn't even know how to face his own student.

Senju Tobirama glared fiercely at Uchiha Chen, not caring in the least that they were inside Chen's genjutsu space. "You say this has nothing to do with you? Your reckless actions have crippled half the Elder Council. Every village decree will grind to a halt. No one will carry out the village's orders or its missions. If things reach that kind of deadlock, all of Konoha will face a grave crisis and risk collapse. You still say this has nothing to do with you?"

Uchiha Chen showed no reaction. He even seemed amused, shrugging with an easygoing smile. "So what? Better to kill a bunch of people colluding with our enemies
