Sakura's Transformation

"Cherry Blossom Rush!"

Sakura shouted.

She gathered Chakra into her fist. A fierce Ki Wave sliced through the air, its power palpable even from far away.

In its wake, rocks shattered and flew in every direction, like scattering petals. It was mesmerizing to watch.

Uchiha Chen remained expressionless as he watched Sakura charge at him. To an onlooker, he looked as if her imposing presence had frozen him in place.

"What an opening!" Sakura's eyes lit up. Of course, she didn't think Chen had been intimidated by her. But this was her best chance to attack, and she wasn't about to let it slip by.

"Break!" Sakura slammed her fist into Uchiha Chen.

"Bang!"

"W-what?" Sakura's whole body stiffened. She stood frozen in place, afraid to move.

Her fist felt as if it had struck a wall of air. An invisible barrier stood between them, keeping Sakura from so much as hurting Uchiha Chen.

"How is this possible?" Sakura gritted her teeth, unable to believe it.

"Break already!" she shouted, hammering away at the space in front of Uchiha Chen with alternating fists. But it was all in vain. The barrier before Chen didn't ripple in the slightest, let alone break.

"Give up," Obito Uchiha kindly advised her. "You can't break his barrier."

With his Rinnegan, Obito could see the invisible barrier. He could also see Sakura pounding away at it to no avail. Her attacks had no effect on Uchiha Chen whatsoever.

He couldn't bear to watch.

"No! I don't believe it!" Sakura pressed her lips together and gritted her teeth, refusing to believe Obito. She kept punching the space in front of Uchiha Chen, again and again.

"Sigh." Obito could only let out a quiet sigh and say no more.

"Damn it!" Sakura said through gritted teeth.
