The Target: The Rinnegan

Chen raised a finger and pressed it against Sakura's fist. A sharp force pierced her fist, punching straight through it.

"Ugh!" Sakura grunted and quickly retreated, putting distance between herself and Uchiha Chen.

The wound Chen had made in her hand healed on its own in the blink of an eye. By the time Sakura came to a stop, it had already scabbed over and healed. Her smooth hand showed no sign of injury.

If not for the blood still on her hand, no one would have believed it had been injured just moments ago.

"What incredible healing!" Seeing this, Obito couldn't help drawing a deep breath, instinctively shaken by Sakura's healing ability.

If I'd had healing like that back then—no! If Rin had had healing like that, perhaps... Obito fell into thought.

Back then, if he hadn't been crushed by a boulder and left on the verge of death, perhaps he wouldn't have given his Sharingan to Hatake Kakashi. Perhaps Madara Uchiha wouldn't have taken an interest in him and brought him to his secret hideout, beginning the miserable life he'd led ever since.

If Rin had had healing like that back then, perhaps she wouldn't have died after Kakashi struck her with his Lightning Blade.

Obito shook his head. He knew it was all just wishful thinking. There weren't that many "what ifs" in the world. What was past was past. He couldn't help giving a bitter smile.

"Impressive healing," Chen praised.

"Hmph!" Sakura only scoffed, paying no attention to Chen's praise. He wasn't Sasuke, and this great demon had once invaded Konoha. She wasn't about to swoon over him.

"I'll ask you again: what exactly did you come here for?" Sakura stared intently at Uchiha Chen, enunciating every word.

Suddenly, Chen seemed to think of something amusing.
