"If I knew, would I still be standing here?" Black Zetsu said irritably.

As Kaguya Otsutsuki's third son, Black Zetsu had lived for thousands of years. Naturally, he knew that Uchiha Chen's Amaterasu was different from everyone else's.

But all he knew was that Chen's Amaterasu was the real thing. He had no idea where it came from. After all, Mangekyō Sharingan abilities varied from person to person, and each person awakened different abilities.

But in this world, very few people had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. In all these thousand years, the number of people who had awakened it could be counted on two hands.

Even Black Zetsu didn't know how many kinds of Mangekyō Sharingan abilities there were. Perhaps one of them happened to summon the true black flames of Amaterasu. Or perhaps Uchiha Chen just happened to have that kind of Mangekyō Sharingan.
