The Chance to Seal Her

"Now's our chance!" Sasuke's eyes lit up. He spread his hands wide and, while Kaguya was busy fending off their attacks, he and Naruto closed in on either side of her.

Naruto and Sasuke attacked together, the Six Paths Power in their hands beginning to surge as they prepared to seize the moment and seal Kaguya.

As if she had guessed what they were planning, Kaguya furrowed her brows and swung her arms, forcefully knocking their attacks aside. But their combined assault was no easy thing to fend off.

Even Madara Uchiha had suffered badly when caught off guard. Taking their move head-on so suddenly had left Kaguya struggling. Her hands, seared by their jutsu, bore clear black scorch marks and a series of gashes torn open by the Rasengan.

Kaguya didn't stay put and wait to be captured. Before the two could surround her, she leaped out of their attack range.

"Trying to run?" Sasuke's gaze sharpened. Then he roared like a madman, "Not so fast!"

A glint flashed in the Tomoe Rinnegan in Sasuke's left eye. The Kusanagi Sword he had thrown earlier shimmered faintly and vanished from where it lay. Kaguya felt a force tugging at her entire body.

Her body was pulled toward the two of them against her will. Kaguya instinctively tried to resist, but in that instant she suddenly vanished from where she stood, swapping places with the Kusanagi Sword and reappearing between them.

"Wha... What?! How is that possible?!" Black Zetsu's voice rang out in shock from Kaguya's sleeve. He seemed unable to believe what had just happened.

Kaguya herself wore a puzzled expression. She couldn't understand why she had reappeared where she'd been when she had clearly escaped their combined attack.

"Could it be the ability of that eye?" Black Zetsu mused.
