Sasuke and Naruto's Crisis, Part Three

"You're already dead, aren't you? How..." Enma began, but when he saw that Sarutobi Hiruzen's eyes had no whites, he understood. "I see. Someone used Impure World Reincarnation on you."

"Who was it? That disciple of yours again, Orochimaru?"

"It's been a long time, Enma. Now's not the time to talk about that. I need your power." Sarutobi Hiruzen didn't answer Enma's question. He simply urged him on. Saving people was what mattered now.

Enma nodded and didn't ask any more questions. Instead, he transformed into the Adamantine Staff. Sarutobi Hiruzen gripped it, stamped his feet, and leaped into the air, swinging it down hard at Kaguya.

"Die!" Sarutobi Hiruzen roared. The Adamantine Staff expanded to its maximum size, crashing down in front of Kaguya with tremendous force.

"Boom!"

Kaguya, who had noticed something was wrong, quickly retreated and escaped before the Golden Cudgel struck her. The pillar smashed into the ground, shattering the ice and sending cracks racing across its surface.

Seeing his attack miss, Sarutobi Hiruzen didn't press the advantage. He knew his own strength well enough. Turning to Naruto, he shouted, "Naruto, now!"

As he spoke, he thrust the Golden Cudgel into the ice prison. "Grow, grow, grow, grow!" The cudgel began to expand, slowly forcing the ice apart.

Naruto's eyes lit up, and he laughed. "Third Grandpa, you really came through!" Two enormous Chakra arms extended from behind him and tore apart the ice that had been forced open, allowing him to escape by the skin of his teeth.

Sarutobi Hiruzen released his grip, and the Adamantine Staff transformed back into Enma, who stood behind him. "Hiruzen, is this the kid from back then?"

Looking at Naruto in Nine-Tails Mode, Enma felt a pang of nostalgia. "So many years have passed. That kid's all grown up
