Seeing the White-Haired Demon burst into the club, the many armed gang members hesitated to open fire. It was as if they weren't the ones fully armed, but the young man before them, wearing a bright smile.
They naturally knew how terrifying the White-Haired Demon was. Whether it was the three news stories that had shaken the world, or the two security guards who had just been struck by him as he sped into the club—those unlucky men now reduced to shattered remains—both were undeniable proof of the White-Haired Demon's strength!
When none of the gang members in front of him responded, Su Mu sighed and lowered his head slightly. The shadow of the lights covered his face, leaving only the corners of his mouth visible as they slowly curled into a cold smile.
"Then I'll go find him myself!"
Hearing those words, one of the gang members could no longer stand the pressure. He pulled the trigger and began firing wildly.
The others heard the sudden, piercing gunfire. Already on edge, they were startled by the sound and instinctively began shooting at Su Mu too.
Countless rounds flew toward Su Mu like a curtain of rain. But when they reached a point ten centimeters from him, they stopped dead, unable to come any closer.
As soon as this bizarre phenomenon appeared, one of the gang members recognized the White-Haired Demon's signature ability.
"Limitless Technique!
"No, the White-Haired Demon can't be defeated! I don't want to die!"
He could no longer face the White-Haired Demon. Overcome by his fear of death, he dropped his rifle and tried to run!
Once the first gang member dropped his gun and fled, the others followed suit. Having learned from the news just how terrifying the White-Haired Demon was, they knew that, in his eyes, they were no different from ants!
Their numbers meant nothing. He could crush them with ease!
Seeing the gang members scatter and run, Su Mu grinned. A tremendous repulsive force suddenly erupted around him, sending the golden bullets floating nearby hurtling back faster than they had come!
The bullets broke the sound barrier with piercing whooshes and struck one body after another.
In an instant, most of the gang members were killed by the ricocheting bullets. The few who remained lay on the gleaming floor, howling in pain.
Su Mu couldn't stand listening to their cries, so he curled one hand toward them.
"Technique Reversal: Azure!"
A blue-black hole appeared out of thin air, drawing in everything nearby. The black hole created by the level-three Technique Reversal, Azure, was several times larger than it had been at level two!
It had grown from the size of a basketball to a full meter across, and its pull had likewise increased severalfold, sucking in all the gang members nearby, dead or no longer able to move!
The screams around him stopped at once!
Su Mu couldn't stand the blood-soaked scene before him either, so the one-meter Azure Black Hole spun rapidly around him, sucking in everything nearby!
The luxurious club that had stood there moments before vanished in an instant, replaced by a huge circular crater.
At the center of the crater, on a still-intact, gleaming floor, the White-Haired Demon stood ramrod straight, his right hand in his pocket. He ran his left hand up through his smooth white hair, revealing a pair of exquisite azure eyes!
But now those eyes were filled with coldness. From a distance, the lucky customers who had escaped watched, trembling uncontrollably, as the White-Haired Demon smiled with satisfaction amid the ruins.
"This is much better. I really am too kind. I can't bear to see such human tragedy!"
The surviving customers: "..."
Do you even hear yourself?!
Su Mu continued onward. According to the Six Eyes' readings, Kingpin had already gotten some distance away, but catching up at his current speed wouldn't be difficult.
He took a step and vanished from where he stood, crossing hundreds of meters of ruins to emerge on the street.
Using Reverse Cursed Technique, Red, to create repulsive force equal to gravity, he walked through the air. Each step carried him dozens of meters forward. A moment later, he spotted an armored car speeding along in the distance.
His Six Eyes shone with brilliant spiritual light, allowing him to see clearly even under the glaring sunlight. He held out one hand like a gun, pointed his index finger at the armored car, and murmured as a Black-Red Singularity flickered into being.
"Bang!"
Kingpin sat in the back of the armored car. Even its specially designed armor, capable of withstanding rocket attacks, gave him no sense of security.
Facing an opponent like a god, he would have broken down long ago if not for the iron will forged by years of experience!
But he wasn't an ordinary man. Even knowing escape was almost impossible, he would still give it a try.
Besides, they weren't completely without means to fight back!
Kingpin glanced behind him, his expression grave.
"I can only hope the device we spent tens of billions of dollars on works. Otherwise..."
The armored car picked up speed. Two rows of thrusters extended from its rear, propelling it forward even faster!
Just as Su Mu was about to take Kingpin out, he suddenly heard a piercing crackle of static in his ear. Then the energy inside him abruptly went out of control, surging into chaos, and he fell from dozens of meters in the air.
"What happened?!"
But as he fell, he quickly regained control of his energy with the Six Eyes' precise guidance. Just as he was about to stand in midair again, he spotted two figures rushing toward him from opposite directions!
"Hahaha! White-Haired Demon, without your mutant powers, you're just an ordinary person!
"I, the Prowler, will be the one to claim the honor of killing the White-Haired Demon!"
From the other direction, a graceful figure swung toward him on a strand of webbing and shouted:
"Watch out!"
Seeing the scene unfold, Su Mu immediately realized what was happening. He wore a mischievous smile and didn't use repulsive force to keep himself aloft, instead letting himself fall naturally.
He also noticed that the armored car in the distance had stopped too—and judging by the way it was moving, it seemed to be coming back.
Then he'd give them a surprise!
When Spider-Woman spotted the White-Haired Demon, she hurried toward him. Just as she was about to reach him, she saw the Prowler in a black bodysuit press a button behind the White-Haired Demon. A piercing crackle of static immediately rang through the surrounding area!
The White-Haired Demon, who had seemed like a god in the sky, suddenly froze. The Black-Red Singularity he had been about to fire vanished, and he began plummeting toward the ground!
It was obvious that the piercing static had done something to the White-Haired Demon to cause this.
Then she saw the Prowler charge at the White-Haired Demon, who was now completely defenseless, his sharp claws extended and his voice full of malice!
She sped up and rushed forward. Just as the Prowler was about to kill the White-Haired Demon, she kicked him away, then held Su Mu in her arms, panting hard. Only then did she finally relax.
"Thank goodness! I nearly didn't make it in time!"
At the same time, feeling the two soft mounds, Su Mu also sighed with relief.
"Thank goodness! I nearly missed out on all the fun!"
